Hey All, just saw this in the "other" board. He's got a sale going on so I ordered one. I'll post up a review when it shows up, if there's interest...

Here's the info if anyone is interested:

Billet Oil Filter Cap by Jowett Performance
Hello XYZ Talk. I've just completed the second run of my billet oil filter cap. ........ This replaces all plastic and alloy versions of the stock cap with a heavy duty billet aluminum piece. A 2.5" six sided nut replaces the 14 flute 64.5mm stock design, which is prone to rounding off and occasionally cracking when overtightened. An optional Fumoto/EZ Drain Valve allows easy draining of the oil from the filter housing. The stock filter support tube and bypass valve are retained, so your oil system performs just as when it left the factory. Any questions? Please ask.

You can purchase them here https://jowettperformance.com/produc...cap-for-filter

Celebrate the 4 th of July with $20 off the fully optioned oil cap (includes drain valve and socket) Enter code "4th of July" at checkout.

They are awesome. I have them on my 200 Land Cruiser (5.7 V8) and my 2020 4Runner.

Also put one on my FIL's Land Cruiser.

I organized a group buy on these many years ago on Mud, TW and one of the other Tundra sites. Highly recommend Jowett Performance!

I have 2, one on the 2021 4Runner and one on the 2018 Tundra and they are built for sure! I have had zero issues and I have been running it on the 2018 for well over 4.5 years

Can you get one with the extended nipple so you can put the hose on it when draining the one?

You can get the screw-on nipple on Amazon. Take it off after an oil change and put the plastic screw-on cap on.

Update, Jowett installed. Couldn't be any easier! No leaks, everything worked as expected. Next oil change should be much cleaner! Also, I changed it out mid oil change cycle....and you lose about 1/3 qt is all when you swap it out.

He sells the screw on nipple for $8. With the RCI skid on my 4Runner and the Bud Built on my Land Cruiser, the hole lines up and the oil shoots straight down into my pan. I've never felt the need for a hose for the filter drain.

On the engine oil drain, I definitely have a nipple and hose with a Fumoto. Makes a huge difference and don't have to remove skids.
