really like the color combo. Do you have any rubbing with your set up? Im thinking about going down to an 18" and running a 285/70r18.

I do have a little rubbing. I removed the small front mud flaps and I have a set of the CoachBuilder bumper shims that I plan on installing. I hope that takes care of it. It’s not bad but it does slightly rub at 3/4 turn when backing up.

So a little update, I had to get the truck realigned because the first alignment wasn’t done correctly. Once it was done correctly I did start to notice more rubbing when backing up. Fortunately, I still have the Coachbuilder bumper shims I purchased. I plan on putting those on soon and hopefully that should alleviate the rubbing.

 

Did you go with after market uppers?

 

No, I didn’t. I didn’t think it was necessary with such a mild lift.

 

I just got in on the coachbuilder gb so that started the ball rolling for a 2.5 in lift w bronze wheels

So, I’ve been thinking about leather for a while and I made a bold and perhaps unpopular choice. That being said, it’s my truck and I think it’s dope. The outside color itself is a bit garish so why shouldn’t the inside be? Or at least that’s my line of reasoning.

Here’s some shots from the outside so you can see the color and contrast. The sun was blazing so it’s not a completely accurate representation of the color. The color is technically red but not a super bright red. The color is called Cardinal. Hope these pics help someone else make a decision. It was hard to locate any other Tundras that had red leather installed.

Thanks. A local shop here in North Louisiana called JeffCo. I was super happy with how the armrest and door panels turned out. It really ties the seats together.

Looks great! You did the exact same thing I'm working on.. I am in the process of turning interior only black and red but my interior guy didnt want to remove the pieces on the door because u have to break plastics to get them off.
