Just recently picked up a new ‘19 Cavalry Blue Crew Max. I’ll be posting all my add ons in this thread. This is my 2nd Tundra. I had a first gen years ago. My last truck was a ‘12 F150 FX4. I’m liking the Tundra so far. Here’s some pics right after I got it.

My first add ons were an Extang bed cover and a Cargo Ease bed slide for work. I also had ceramic tint done all the way around.

I also added the OEM bed lights and Pop and Lock for the tailgate. Great features to add on if your truck doesn’t already have it.

DD48980A-FB23-42DD-A35E-3DC383BC410A.jpg Tires came in today. I love the way these look and I think this is the perfect size tire for a leveled Tundra. Thanks to everyone on this site who did all the research before me to help me make the decision on tire size.

Thanks. Unfortunately they probably won’t get mounted until next week. Still waiting on my 6112’s. This was just a teaser. I haven’t seen a Cavalry Blue Tundra with bronze wheels yet. Hope it looks good.

Actually, I am wondering if could go ahead and mount the wheels and tires now or should I wait until the Bilstein’s come in and get installed? Think they would rub too much or is it something I could deal with for a week or so?

@BigLoggerhead If all you have to wait is next week i'd just hold off. I have 305/70/17 which if this tire size calculator is correct mine are taller by .1", and wider by .8". Mine rubbed good amount in front, pushed the plastic from the outside of bumper cap to inside which took care of that completely however at body mount it rubs on 3/4's lock. You might be good but I'd say mount wheels & tires and wait until next week to install everything so you don't have any issues at all unless you're impatient like me

Patience is not my strong point but I agree, waiting is probably the correct call.

At some point. That junk gets pricy fairly quickly. Not really sure what my best options are. I’m open to suggestions. Every Cavalry Blue option is extra $.

Got the lift installed yesterday evening and got the tires mounted. Bilstein 6112’s set at 1.9” with one Coachbuilder shim on the driver’s side. 18x9 SCS SR8’s in Matte Dark Bronze. Nitto Ridge Grappler’s 285/70/18. Once I get her cleaned up I’ll post some more pics.

Glad you did the cavalry blue and bronze wheel experiment for me! I’m gonna stick with stock wheels, but living vicariously through you. I like my chrome and think the stock wheels work with it. In your case I may start to dechrome because I think the wheels will go better, but doesn’t look bad by any means imo. The TPO bumpershellz will hopefully make it easier and cheaper in the near future to dechrome. Still have to spend big for the grill and bulge. At least you have the black badges already! Tire size, choice, and wheel offset look awesome too! I’d look twice if you drove by me due to the relative obscurity of Calvary blue and your nice mods. Way to go.

Thanks for all the kind words. I do plan to do some dechroming in the future. I’m just not sure how far I’ll go yet. It gets pretty pricy. I’ll probably do the grill surround and put some mirror caps to start and then look at the bumpers. Doing the grill and adding the mirror caps I think will change the truck tremendously.
