New to this forum, already did the new member intro stuff, now time to get down to some mods.
Our 2011 Limited aka Big Brother (Little sister is the wife's 2014 4Runner limited)
Lift is Bilstein 5100 for 3" Gobi Ranger roof rack and KO2's on stock 20" rims. (Wanting to get down to a 17-18" rim and larger tire as we frequent some dirt / rough roads going to some lakes)
Com's: Kenwood TM-D710G & TM-V71A Diamond antenna HD trunk mount and 2m/70cm dual band diamond antennas. (Were both HAM radio operators)
Using the newer Ultra Gauge and was able to "hack" it to show the torque converter & pan temps.
All interior lights swapped out for LED's
Hacked the fog lights relay to stay on with high beams.
Stock muffler and resonator removed, Magna flow muffler installed.
A few weekends ago I changed out the busted 12v outlet to a dual USB for the middle seat, then did the same for the cig lighter up front.
Alternator was upgraded along with a new water pump (glad we have that warranty) using a battery isolator for the deep cycle battery in the rear.
This weekend I'll be doing the Start-X remote start.
Over all we use it to pull our Camper or jet skis and some road trips. Great rig and were super happy with it.

Oh yes! there from the same litter, the black brindle one I've been holding her since she was 2 weeks old, the brown brindle was our sons but due to his very busy work schedule he gave him to us.
Female is a bit protective of us and the male just wants to give kisses haha

Tried to search some radio ideas but didn't have much luck.
Any recommendations on a decent head unit that'll still use the steering wheel controls, XM radio and apple play?

I added the DMX 1057 (kenwood). It has a large display that is nice. I had to add the Sirius module, but can not pause and replay Sirius. I can also use the steering wheel controls (using the crutch field adapter).

The rear entertainment still "works"... Meaning there is power, but can only be used with rca jack items like roku. ( I have the yellow connected to the back and the white/red connected to the head unit.)

Love the pics. We briefly had a Yukon Denali in between my 4runner and now Sequoia. The Toyotas to me beg for this outdoor lifestyle and use whereas the Yukon felt like a soccer mom/dad car not worthy of putting a tire in the dirt!

    Light bar wiring...
I've searched and seen some neat light bar set up's but nothing on how wiring was ran.
Anyone have any thread suggestions, pictures or video of getting the wiring to the roof?? Have a 52" light bar and 4 pod lights I plan on using on the roof rack.
On my old XJ I just drilled through the roof, used a rubberized sealant and spray painted over it, this sounds a bit barbaric to do on a 2nd gen lol.

Light bar, ditch lights and all that good stuff has been installed.
    Now tires....
I've searched this form but didn't see much.
Looking to ditch the stock 20" rims and looking at some stock 18" Tundra rims.
Currently have a 3" lift with the stock 255/75/R20 Thinking of something in the 33-34" tall range, The lake we mainly go to in the summer time has 13 miles of rough washboard dirt road and we tow a double ski trailer on this too.
It's time for new tires now so looking for size recommendations.

This forum is sometimes slow to respond!
How did you end up running your wiring? I was gonna say KC lights makes a rubber tube type channel that sticks to your windshield on the edge that works really well.

I am running 275/70/18 Venom Power Terra Hunter XT tires on my 18" 18x9 Method wheels .......I think they come to 33.2".

Nice rig! I like how that looks!

I ended up running "zip wire" 14awg red/black along the windshield and used a little black marine sealant to hold it in place.
We'll be starting out summer lake trips this month and my 52" light bar has been mounted for 3 years so figured I'd better get it hooked up I procrastinated long enough (house projects - life stuff took priority)
Unfortunately there's several led's that aren't working but it'll be enough - better than nothing. (light bar is roughly 6yr old)

    Thanks!
Yep I have a cheap light bar that got condensation in it but it still works, same with the ditch lights. Contacted the company since they were still under warranty and they sent me a new bar and ditch lights! I am hanging on to them till the original lights actually go out. The driver side ditch light just went out yesterday.

Love it! We have a 2015 we towed a 28' TT with. We only had a WDH and the squat was noticeable but not too bad. What do you use to haul your trailer?

Were using the Husky Center Line series for up to 8000 lb.
The camper dealer installed it, it wasn't set up correctly plus were lifted so I had to order a drop hitch that was low enough to make the camper level when hooked up.
So far no issues with it, works great.
I do see a little sag on ours but its not bad enough to try and adjust anything.
