3 out of the 5 trucks on our last trip had KM3’s. They didn’t seem to fare too well. I’m sick of destroying expensive tires. I’m going to try going the cheap tire route on my next set. Patagonia Milestars might be the ones I try. @Spolar got some. Destroy a tire, replace it for $200.

The KM3s seem a little soft. There's no siping and I found 'em a little bit (not super bad) slippery on wet asphalt. They also bark in the dirt, like squealing on asphalt. For off road I've had the best luck with the STT Pros.

I get it, Joon but you can’t go with a tire called Patagonia. Shit, I’m wearing a pair of their underwear right now.

3 trips and almost 3k miles.

Off road wear - All tires missing at least one full tread block, one is down to the belts.

Off road performance - Awesome, but short lived.

    On road wear - Fast!

    On road performance - Impressive.

Too soft for our trucks, without the off road abuse, they will wear fast on road. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the reviews y’all, I know every tire is a compromise depending on your intended use. Just wanted a dedicated KM3 thread and real world experience.

It's a mud tire and a really soft compound. IMO the Tundra is too heavy a truck for it.

I think Alex, @osidepunker had issues with the sidewalls on the Ko2. Not sure but he might be liking the Cooper's?

My new to me 2014 Tunny has new Sumitomo GeoTour H/T street friggin tires. Great...not...actually good for 60K miles....driving around the friggin mall. Fortunately for me I still have a full set of Cooper STT Pro M/T's with Armor Tek 3 ply sidewalls. I want to go down to 17" rims but I had an epiphany.....I'm going to stay with my 18" TRD rims. One of our clients is a major powdercoat business in Denver. Going to have my rims PC'd by them. Total chemical strip down, sand blasted, prepped, PC'd for $400.

The Cepeks aren't mentioned at all here. Not neccessary a bad thing. Just curious.

Of the 3 different MT tires I've run on this truck, the Cooper's were the only set that didn't have a flat. Well, the Yoko's weren't on my truck long cause I slit a sidewall (completely my fault) and switched tire size. The Yoko's seemed like a good tire though. @GodlessPro is still running Yoko's.

I admit...I'm a Cooper tire fan boy for good reason. Can't beat em IMHO. Those new Yoko's look damn good. I must admit. Quite curious about them...I'm always open to new possibilities....

Just checked them out. Quite impressed. 3 ply sidewalls. Great tread design. A good thing..seems most dealers are in Kali. What 's the price point, just out of curiousity?.https://www.milestartires.com/light-truck-tires/patagonia-mt/
