I threw a bottle of spray sunscreen near the gear shift this weekend with the spray head locked. It must have dripped and run down into the shifter area because this AM the paint on the plastic around the shifter was bubbled and peeled off.

Keep the spray sunscreen away from your truck or anything else you do not want eaten.

Especially the spray on sunscreen. Had a buddy spray his arms with Coppertone spray and the wind pushed the mist to the body of my old Taco. Took some elbow grease and windex to remove most of it. Some spots remained.

Spray Sunscreen will also stain some household floors. I know it is hell on terrazzo.

Sometimes I wonder what is worse, the sun or the chemicals we put on our skin to prevent us from getting sunburned. If that crap is stripping paint, do you really want it on your skin?

I wear a hat, long sleeve fishing shirt, and salt armor face mask. I don't do sun burn anymore.

Yeah I hate that spray sunscreen. I can't stand the smell of it. And most sunscreens give me a rash anyways. I have to use Neutrogena or something along those lines. No banana boat. And I'm always wary about getting it on my interior of the truck. I always feel like it's going to eat the coating off the steering wheel or armrests.

    Flux capacitor!
I did the same thing in my first Tundra. I used spray sunscreen inside my truck and I noticed the next day my interior trim had spots all over missing paint. Then I figured out what happened was the sunscreen ate my paint!
