Washed the truck yesterday, haven't really done a detail clean since I got my vinyl tonneau cover installed. Tried just car wash soap and a microfiber mit on it but it didn't really do the greatest job. Anybody have any products they recommend?

I used 303 Automotive Protectant and thought it did a pretty good job. It really brought back the blackness and seemed to repel dust and rain pretty good.

I'll give that a shot, been looking for a reason to buy a bottle of it.

I second the 303 protectant. I put it on everything for the UV protection as well.

Agreed. It’s a non-oily Armor All. Use 303 for everything

I'm assuming a soft/roll-up tonneau? I'll cast another vote for 303; I'll also use the meguiars "wash/wax" (thick bright yellow stuff) on it as well. I typically foam cannon with a straight soap, rinse, then use the meguiars w/w with a microfiber mitt. Dry it, then the 303 wipes or spray bottle on the tonneau. That keeps the tonneau pretty in good shape.

In between the 303 treatments you can keep the cover looking good by using a new “swifter” dust mop to remove dust and tree pollen.

CQuartz leather coating is a better option. It won’t wash off after rain and then have your paint streaked.

303 is ok option. Most like it cause it’s cheap but there are better products out there that won’t require reapplying after rain.
