Anyone know of any easy trails for beginners near the east bay or Sacramento areas?

There are a hand full of easy/moderate trails, just be mindful of getting some light scratches/pinstripes with our big pigs.
@joonbug is leading some trips this month. Give him a holler!

Here ya go. Nice and easy. Actually it’s the only trail in the book that is pretty close to Sacramento.

Just find a group of Jeeps and follow them. They will show you all the easy trails.

I don’t do much trail action, but I always try and find a backroad or two every couple weekends, whether it is a very narrow semi-paved road, gravel, or even fire road. I can recommend a few around the Solano, Lake, and Yolo county areas such as Mt. Vaca (Vacaville/Fairfield), Knoxville road and Off Road Area (between Lake Berryessa and Clear Lake). I was recommended Indian Valley/Mendocino National forest that I am going to hit up in the next couple weeks.
