Bedrug with Factory bed lights

Does anyone have a bedrug with the factory bed lights? Just curious if I should expect to pull the lights, install the bedrug, poke holes, and then reinstall the lights; or install the bedrug and then just cut out for the lights.

 

My lights are already install, but this is basically my plans are, I was hoping to find some verification that it would work.

 

To answer the question, remove lights, install bedrug, find holes, and reinstall lights.
