bought a new tundra a few days ago, and mine does not have any of the rail tie things (sorry don't know what they are called). Saw some cars on the dealership's parking lot that had them installed already. Do they all come with it and mine were removed or do you have to pay extra to get them? thanks a lot!

found a picture of what i am referring to:

if you bought it new from the dealer, then yes it should be included. when I bought mine, it came with 4 tie downs. the dealership kept them in original packaging and left it in the truck when I came to pick it up. they said they don't like to keep them installed and out in the elements on the lot.

I suggest you call your dealership and tell them that you did not receive your tie downs.

UNLESS, you bought a tundra without the deck rail option? does your truck indeed have the rail system and just no tie downs?

Just went to check, and the rails are missing. The holes for it are there, but no rails. Not sure why they wouldn't be there. I didn't get a choice to get a truck with them or not. I really would have liked to have them and it would have been really convenient.

hmm, can you tell us exactly what trim/model truck you have? packages included. I'm pretty sure the rail system does NOT come standard on all trims, but I'm not sure. I only assume it doesn't because I've been recently shopping around for a bed cover and they always have an option for tundras WITH deck rails and tundras WITHOUT.

Mine did not come with the deck rails included. You can do this yourself though using Unistrut at a fraction of the cost. I bought Unistrut from Home Depot and spray painted with bed liner spray. Lot's of posts on this site about installing and other tie downs, ammo cans, etc, that can be mounted.

I think Rail Caps is their fancy way of saying plastic on top of the bedsides.

I'm gonna have to conclude that your truck does NOT come standard with the deck rails. I don't have my dealership sheet anymore but I do remember that it said "5.6ft bed w/deck rail system" or something like that. I guess you wont know unless you call your salesman and ask.

Mine came with the "deck rail system". @Roman can help or you can find them on eBay rail There's lots of different hardware attachments for the rails and even the OEM "cleats" eBay too... here
