I bought this sprayer to apply beadmaker to my truck, will it be ok to just store it in here or will the beadmaker clog up the nozzle. By the way it worked better than expected for 4.992AB2BABB-ABB2-4968-8555-BA1D42672FD0.jpg

I have some that’s been in an IK sprayer for several months. I just tested it and it’s working fine.

I picked a few of these up a month or so ago for cheap too. It's a good idea to release the pressure from them when you're not using them. I had one half full of diluted shine supply tire cleaner and it ended up having a pinhole leak on one of the seams of the molded container and it leaked out due to the pressure. I tossed that one out and still have another to use.

I was listening to The Rag Company podcast this morning, and they mentioned that mixing ONR and Beadmaker in one of these sprayers makes for a great combo. I didn’t catch the amounts used, so I’ll have to go back and check. (They were talking about using the IK sprayers, but it’s the same concept.)

Yeah, you’re right. I didn’t catch that. I haven’t used my IK Sprayers a whole lot, but mine is probably 30% full of Beadmaker right now. I know I used it at least once to apply it to my Tundra. I don’t think I filled it up all the way to begin with, but I’m not sure.

I think mine is 35 ounce, so that would equal just over two of the regular Beadmaker bottles. It takes a whole bottle to do the first application on a Tundra, so I’d say you can get at least two trucks out of it. If you’re just refreshing one, it’ll be more.

Simple upgrade - put the valve through the head, not the body of the sprayer. Then the pump & valve & cap are all one & unscrew from the bottle as one unit.

I would want the bike pump in line w/ the handle so I could grab it all as a lump, but I have large hands - would be too much for some hands. But aligning w/ handle would naturally move the valve to the top of the lid. Got to be room for it up there.

Ok, in that case, my foam cannon is one liter, which is about the same as my IK sprayer. I’ve can do at least two trucks without having to refill the foam cannon. It may vary with different systems being used, but I don’t think you’d have to refill it before you were done with your Tundra.
