I have 21 nightshade. Any suggestions or ideas for a basic leveling kit for the front end to match the rear. What are my best options. I don't do a lot of towing maybe only 2-3 times a year.

If you dont do hardcore offroading just get a 1.75/2" spacer lift on the front. Can find them on Amazon for less than $75.

Or spend more to ALOT more on a replacement coilover shock.

Official welcome... Depends on your budget? Application? Looks?
You can go cheap and a spacer lift, RC, Ready lifts, etc.
Or Belstein 5100's, never experienced them, but most common, 1-2.5" lift..then a basic Coilovers, better ride and functionality... RC, toytec, BDS, etc.
Plus, read past threads in the suspension section to see the pros and cons on just about every brand, make, style of lifts.. Been done, over and over again... Good luck and post pics.

A spacer kit will get you there for cheaper and you will probably be satisfied.

    But…

Having had both a spacer lift and now coilovers. I would highly suggest IF you can afford it, go with a shock setup or coil over over the spacers. It was a hard decision to make on my truck to since the suspension was fine and rode nice but after biting the bullet and going with the Eibach Pro 2.0 coilover kit, I am very happy.

The spacer kit I had before caused weird random pops and noises. The ride was definitely not as comfortable as stock. My brother has an f150 with a spacer and is experience in similar.

Get a set of Billstein 5100s and set them to mid or top setting for the perfect level look if you are looking for the most affordable way to level your truck properly.

I have experience with small spacers and coil overs such as the Bilstein 5100/Eibach Sports. If you want over 1 inch of lift the coil over is a better solution. An inch or less you can go either way. I have driven very hard all over NYC and never had a problem with small strut spacers (.25 to .50 thickness). The lift provided is approximately double the thickness of the spacer. Never had tire wear in an odd manner and no alignment problems ever.

When the truck gets older I don’t mind changing shocks but I feel like I am wasting money by swapping them out early. When it’s time for new shocks though I do ditch the spacers.

How do the 5100 shocks compare to the stock TRD OR shocks? Last set of 5100s I had were on a Tacoma TRD Sport and they were a lot nicer than the Sport shocks.

Depends on what setting you adjust them to. Mine are set at top setting which provided me a perfect level and they ride stiffer. But I prefer a stiffer riding truck.

I like firm but I’d be using whatever setting was below 2”. The rear blue/yellow TRD shocks are a little soft with any load in my opinion.

FWIW, I have the Eibach Stage 1 setup with Eibach springs. My buddy has a 2018 TRD off road and said mine hands down rides better than his with stock suspension.

Also, when I was shopping I had two different forum vendors recommended Eibach over the 5100s.

I think Im going to go with the eibach pro 2.0 coilovers. Would i need any shackles and shims along with it?

Go with Bilstein 6112 coilovers on middle setting.

debadged, diamondback, window tint, dirty deeds exhaust.
Had a 3/2 leveling kit on my 2018. Ride was great but at 83000 miles i was going on th e3rd c/v boot replacement and about to replace the c/v axle do to leaks from the boots. IF i do it my new one will be a full kit with the diff drop or i will not go above 2 inch with leveling. The kit as not supposed to require a diff drop but with the pot holes and occasional light off-road the right C/v boot was always leaking or ripping.

Can’t go wrong with Falcons. They cost a little more but I’ve been very happy with mine.

I'll second the Eibach stage 2 recommendation. I've had 5100 in the past and these ride better.

I also added the +1 CB shackle and the Eibach rear shocks, works really well

If you guys think the 5100’s are far superior than the factory TRD, then Eibach will simply be divine…just sayin’

I just put fox 2.0 coil overs on my truck at 2”. Sits level or barely, slightly raked. Perfect for me.

100% improvement over stock TRD off-road (bilstein 4600). Eats bumps. You feel the bump but you only recoil/bounce once vs 2x or more with stock. If that makes sense.

I was not knocking Bilstein however for a few extra bucks, the Eibach’s provide a much better ride quality than the 5100’s. For two very specific reasons. 1.) Small bump sensitivity and 2.) cold weather performance. I was only speaking to the entry lift category not in general.
