What's the purpose? Acts as another brake light?

 

Functions as a tail lamp, brake and reverse(white led). I am going to use it as a tail(marker lamp) and I want to hook up the brake and reverse to a switchpro eventually(so I can run the brake as a rear fog lamp in low visibility situations). Since I don’t have my SP setup yet I am just going to wire it to my reverse for now.

Conclusion : These lights don't disappoint. The white LED(only two of them) surpassed my expectations. I can't even look at it directly because of how bright they are. @Baja Designs never disappoint. This is my second BD product and they quality is top notch. Bailey is great to deal with and shipping is super fast.

This may be illegal in Texas. A law was passed that said that anything that obscures the lettering, including the state name, is illegal. There are more details here. http://www.houstontx.gov/police/nr/2006/aug/nr083106-2.htm

 

It's illegal in NY. Technically you can't have anything on the license plates, not even a dealership frame or any frame .
