    I have a 2018 tundra platinum with 40 000 kms on it.
When in park I have a Consecutive bad vibration between 1200-1800 RMP.
You can feel it in the steering wheel. when the truck is cold you can also feel it in the seat. Does anyone have this issue? Did you solve the problem?
    thank you for your time

Welcome from Ontario Canada . I’m confused , is it when it’s in park or when it’s being driven or both ?

Only when it is in park or neutral.
When driving there is no issue. (Can’t feel it due to the road vibrations maybe)

A vibration when not moving usual indicates a miss or other issue with the engine that increases vibration. Does it still do it if you drive it a while and get it good and hot?

I took the truck to a dealer. There was no codes and the dealer said it was fine.

I Did own a 2007 tundra TDR 5.7. I put 400 000 kms on it. Mostly towing and never had the vibration issue when in park at 1200-1800 rpm. (Cold start warm up or reving it to 1400 RMP)
My father has a 2013 tundra TRD 5.7 and does not have this issue.
I’m taking it to a different dealer this Wednesday. It is still under warranty.

When the truck is good and hot. I put it into park. Rev it up to 1400 rpm. Hold it there. I still feel the consecutive vibration. I Feel it more when I let off the gas.
If it was miss firing you think a code would come up. Could it be a loose engine mount??

I notice a vibration in my driver's seat when my truck is warming up but I figured it's normal.

I did not have it in my 2007 truck. my fathers 2013 truck does not have it either.
going to get to the bottom of it one way or another. Or at least get it in Document With Toyota (whole it is still under warranty) just in case I run into issues at a later date.

I’ve noticed this in my 19 pro.

it seems to be worse when cold which indicates the mounts are contributing a bit.

ive also noticed every overhead cam engine I’ve ever spent appreciable time with ( mostly fords) had this same issue at nearly same rpm.

it isn’t present while driving at speed with load in engine and transmission.

I think it’s a unique confluence of rotor and valve dynamics that isn’t getting damped ( enough) by mounts

Have you compared it to any other "3rd gen" (2014-2021) trucks? Maybe they changed something in 2014? :notsure:

I believe the complaint is a very high frequency vibration. Like a tuning fork. My 4runner does it as did 5 others on the lot. My Tundra does ever so slightly. You can do create the vibration at the 6 oclock steering wheel position sitting in park and revving the engine. Lexus had the same complaint and they went with weighted steering wheels and I believe a different steering rack. If its the vibration I think it is, its characteristic of the vehicle caused by something hitting its natural frequency.

Hi guys. Sorry for the late reply. The dealer checked the engine mounts. They were good.
The computer system show no issueswith the Ignition ignition system. There was no other codes or issues. The dealersaid he put the issue into there system.
there is no vibration in the steering wheel when I’m driving.

Ya that’s exactly what all the dealers are doing. Frustrating
