    Help,
Member #10805, posted a thread on November 6, 2017 showing the male connectors on the factory wiring in both the Overhead Console, and the camera connector under the rear at the tail gate. That’s exactly what I see on my 08 Tundra, DC, limited. When I attach the monitor to the overhead console connector and put the truck in traverse, the camera power indicates about 6.5v DC at the tailgate connector. Can anyone confirm this voltage to be correct? If yes, can anyone direct me to a source for a camera (hopefully not Toyota) or a source that has the wiring diagram for their cameras?

~6.5V sounds about right. When I put an aftermarket NAV Hu in a decade ago I remember wiring in a 5V voltage converter into the overhead to keep the factory camera happy. Then ran the video input into my Alpine HU.
