If you’re looking for a Toyota in South Texas avoid Toyota of Boerne at all costs. They lied to me about the status of a new Tundra. They said it was in their inventory, but on QC hold - kept me waiting for over a month. I eventually found out truck was not in the system at all. They either sold it to someone else (at a higher price) or were just stringing me along. Either way, they run a unethical business.

Damn, that sucks. So many dealerships are shady these days.

If you are willing to travel some for an honest dealer. I have a good connection with one South of DFW.

I purchased two Tundras through Universal Toyota in San Antonio and both were good experiences. I did have an issue with a guy in the service department refusing to change a cabin air filter despite it being covered in the maintenance plan I had purchase with one of the trucks. Showed it to him in black and white and he still refused. I told him he was a dumb shit and needed to get someone who was literate. I don't usually insult a person in a public setting, but this guy was being a prick.

    Shame.

They threw a nice little Tundra meet together at a local brewery up that way a few years ago. Handed out sweet swag bags to all who went.

I think this market shows the true colors of some of these operations. We need to support the hell out of the honest dealers that choose integrity over profit.

I bought my 22 Tundra off the lot at Toyota of Cedar Park in April. No issues and very pleased with them. No service yet (only 1500 miles). They are a lot closer to Boerne and San Antonio than Dallas.

No ADM, but did included around $1500 in dealer add ons I did not want (it was off the lot and delivered an hour after I walked in, though.)

I got my truck from cedar park also. Msrp+1000 dealer add-ons (front window tint and ceramic coat). Stay away from North Austin, autonation and San Marcos Toyota, as they had market adjustments and expensive add-ons.

Boerne stole my allweather mats, coin holder, rubber mat inserts for cup holders and doors, and usb adapter when detailing. Asked to locate them and ask the detailers but never found. I bitched to many people and managers and after 2 months finally got replacements. Next truck purchased at Alamo Toyota and all was smooth.

Toyota in Weatherford has been by far the worst dealership I've dealt with so far.

Sleezy sales associates and shady sales tactics.

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of them when I called and was emailing with them.

Are you currently looking for a vehicle or just talking about a past experience?

Speaking about a past experience. I was looking for a 2.5 gen last year. I doubt things have changed.
