    Hey Everyone!
I was looking to install an automatic truck starter in my 17’ Tundra Limited TRD...I was going to have the dealer do it, but I don’t like the way Toyota sets up their starters (they shut off when you open the door, etc..)
A buddy turned me on to an automatic starter that has “plug & play” options. Has anyone ever used this, or can recommend a good automatic starter that does not shut off when you open the door? Thanks!

I used N2designs plug and play auto start for my truck. I believe it’s similar if not the same as 12v’s. I went with N2 because I refused my cell card that I had from him from my Tacoma.

now, my Tacoma as well as most Toyota and Lexus’s will turn off when you open the door. I’m lucky with my tundra that I have the G key, no push button or sensor on the handles , so I can start it, open a door and put the key in while it’s still running. It all depends on your trucks setup. N2designs or 12v both have write ups out there in this subject. 12v has a good YouTube video for the installation.

    I did
A Compustar remote start, it was plug and play. Took less than 20 minutes.

I've had no problems at all with my Viper remote start and you get an awesome alarm system to go with it.
