are there inserts for the plastic trays to make it like one solid arm rest?

my dog loves to sit on the middle console on our old F150 and when we got our Tundra the trays on top of console is not something he is a fan of

 

Second this! It my healers favorite perch, and we all know not the safest spot for them. Either way, I’d love to have a solid console.

 

My brother in law has a 3rd gen, he ordered one off Amazon but it was also a little cubby so when you pressed it it would open (returned it)

it should be easy enough to 3D print a filler plate for it that you tape down, if you or a friend (or your local library) has a 3D printer

@Ykrider check out my design here. It's an insert with a cutout for a wireless charger. I could definitely just make a flat "blank" insert for this spot if you wanted? It would be the same design just without anything inserted like a charger or whatever. I've thought about other useful things for this spot but it's not very large and I'm not coming up with anything other than a charger or blank.

Any input on something else useful here would be good.

Sure thing. I'll draw it up and let you know. Might even look a bit more sleek without that back platform to hide the cable from the charger. Hell, if you had a design you'd want there I could potentially customize it to show on the top and center it up just let me know if there's something you'd like.

It's engraved in the top surface and recessed just a bit. It has radii all around to smooth out the edges.

Hmm, you would think this would be a good thing to have a space there, kind of a special place for the dog's nuts to ride along. A nut-relief chamber if you will...
