Are there any other complete fog light kits besides Rigid that are good?

I really like the Rigid 37101 set of fogs for the Tundras except for the price. Are there any other solutions that dont hit the wallet so hard? I want to switch over to ambers and living in the northeast, they should get plenty of use.

Diode Dynamics SS3 SAE fog lights.

There is no other road legal fog light that can even compete. They are also 15% off right now.

I just installed the Diode Dynamics SS3 SAE as well. They look just like the Baja Designs but for $170 shipped, cant go wrong. Purchased from lightwerkz.com promo code spring15. Not sure if it will still work though.

The Bajas are probably the brightest lights out there but definitely not street legal. They would be my absolute 1st choice if only to be used offroad or in completely desolate areas. Any oncoming traffic will be blind. That's why I choose the SAE version of the Diode Dynamics. I can run them anytime anywhere. Sure they are not nearly as bright but the amount of time they are on and used is more important to me.

Wrong Baja designs has an SAE version now and can run them all the time. I have them and I run them everyday lol. With that being said the diode dynamics have a cleaner spread and I think the pros are brighter as well

Even the BD revised “SAE” fog light cannot even come close to competing with the Diode Dynamics.

I know they have an SAE version but the light output for how much more they cost compared to Diode Dynamics does not make sense to me. If there is no concern for how the light affects others, Baja all the way. But SAE to SAE version I choose to save the $170 difference. That's just me and if you can afford them, that's fine. Just my opinion.

Wow. That’s some crazy good info on fogs! Thanks for the link. Helped clear up some questions. Im going with the Diode Dynamics as well. For $170, it seems like it’s the overall best value.

I ordered the Diode Dynamics sae fogs in pro/amber. Got them and installed/leveled them today. Waiting for the sky to go black to test them out, but in my garage with the daylight shining in they were extremely impressive.

I’m really torn between the sport and the pro. I don’t want the pro to be to bright for oncoming traffic but the additional power might be worth it here in the northeast, where the fog can be blinding at times.

While you can do this, it’s probably not going to be that nice ‘amber’ that everyone thinks of. This is exactly what I was going to do originally as well, but wound up doing the opposite.
I got the amber SS3 pro to start with and clear lenses to swap in. Now my ‘white’ output with the clear lenses won’t be quite matched to my led headlights .. but at least my yellow fogs won’t look green
