That's a bummer, but understandable. This really isn't a lift kit. At best it's a level kit, but it's really just a way to get something similar to/better than what the TRD Pros come with. Anyone seeking an actual lift will be disappointed with these.

@TOYOTARIG - You may want to call TeraFlex customer service directly. They are very helpful and would know more than Stage 3 most likely. Keep me advised by end of day on Monday.

We are at 3 times the original goal. No complaints but it's it's shame they couldn't work out a deeper discount at 20ppl or something.

Excited for no more rub in full lock!

    By the final retailer 25-50%.
Total mark up of the item from the manufacturer 200-300%

There is not that amount of margin. I tried for a 25% deal and was told not possible by multiple dealers. With 18 we are well set up but I suspect we may lose a couple of folks as well as gain a couple. If the market was flooded with these then the story might be different.

    @Black

Well OK - guess I’m out
really want 4” up front but don’t want to “cut-up” truck to get it so I figured a 2.5” setup with shins would get me close
But if that’s going to ruin the ride/ quality of these shocks - There is no sense in me going in this direction. I really don’t have the MONEY to do a suspension right now with other home projects in the works but that internal parts / manufacturing videos you posted plus the Group buy SAVINGS was pushing me to JUMP

THX for saving me from making a COSTLY MISTAKE !!

You do realize that this group buy is coming from the final retailer?
I would say the 25-30% markup is likely about right for the retailer.

Doubt for the manufacturer they are above 150%

Yup, if you want anything more than a level not the right kit. But this kit is also not marketed or made for it.

It will sit level similar to a pro - nothing crazy. But should tow better by changing the rear settings.

Falcons have 4 settings, so it's hard to know what you mean by "middle". The level setting is where they are from the factory, and should be about 2 inches up front. The setting below that is going to raise the nose some, but not quite level it. The bottom setting will sit at stock height. The highest setting is only supposed to be used if you have heavy accessories up front, like a winch and steel bumper.

    upload_2021-4-11_17-38-42.jpg

This video should pick up where they explain it.

EDIT: I missed your earlier posts. If you are going for the same set up as a PRO, then the Level setting should be what gets you there.

The rear won't change in height with the Falcons. There is no lift in the rear with a levelling set up. You are just getting shocks that will handle the bounce and loads better with adjustable settings for empty or loaded. I would imaging the leafs in the rear are going to squat the same amount that they do now. Do you squat when you hook up to it now?

The only reason I can see for adding shackles would be to maintain the factory rake after raising the front to level it.

If you don’t want to squat while towing then you will need rear shackles; but you won’t be true level. Do you know how much it drops/squat when loaded? If you do, that will help you pick out the correct ones. Say it’s 3/4" of drop... you can get coachbuilders +1 shackles (5/8" rise) will give you a squat of 1/8" when loaded with your utv. Which would be almost imperceivable when loaded. And 5/8" rise when unloaded would still seem level to the eye. But this is also assuming you are getting the true 2" in front on the level setting. For reference I have 3/4" rake with rear shackles and it looks level.

Sorry for the typo. It should have said marketed. This is not a lift kit, not designed to do anything aside from level the front while adding a much better ride and better off road capability.

Every truck is different. But you will likely not see 2” on the 2nd setting.

As for the 3rd setting which gives a level which is generally 2.25-2.5” it rides great! I am very happy with the ride. Worlds better than stock, far better than 5100s, and much better than Fox 2.0s, and Bilstein 6112s.
Granted ride comfort is somewhat subjective Falcon really does a nice job with the progressive bump stops and ZRT. The truck rides fantastic.

Then I would absolutely do a CB +2 shackle (the highest lift in the rear I would be willing to go with this kit as it is only designed for 1” of lift. The .25” is nominal and not really anything to worry about).

I don’t tow very much to worry about squatting it but I think trucks looks better with some rake. So I went with the CB +1s.
Some day I may get a chance to put them on.

While gaining some rear lift the CB shackles will really give a much better ride in the rear over factory shackles.

watching the video they install the extenders in the rear... why if its not designed for added lift? Someone mentioned the rears to be the same length as the OME and using them with the +1 shackles along with OME leaf pack which I believe gives 2" lift. I will be planning to run them with front .5" top spacer to get 3.25" front lift and 1.5" rear shackle. I am taking off the the Bilstein 6112/5160 to give these falcons a try. The 6112's on top setting only yield 2.5" (I have added the .5" top spacer) to get more lift so its similar set up to what I'm doing with the Falcon's

If I go with the level setting on Teraflex and CB +1s, do I have to buy other parts or just plug in and play? I just want to have a little rake.
