I’ll start of by saying nice job on the Group Buy and getting enough done quick.
I am very very happy with my Falcons! I ordered mine from Stage3Motorsports and they were great. I ordered during their Black Friday Deal and did not receive them until February. This of course was no fault of Stage3. TeraFlex like everyone was super backed up thanks to Covid. I bugged Stage3 every two weeks for an updated ship date and they were always quick to respond. They did charge my card as soon as I ordered and they also charged sales tax. So just a heads up I would be prepared for that. Yes, I had factory coils powder coated. Though they are almost identical to my Barcelona Red truck and not the TRD red.

I absolutely would not do this! These shocks are unlike any other lift strut I have seen. Nothing like a 5100 aside from using clip rings. The fronts use an external progressive rate bump stop for upwards travel and Zone Rate Technology which is essentially an internal progressive rate bump stop for down travel and these are tuned specifically for the factory springs.
I can tell you that you can absolutely feel it working and it is pretty slick. The best way I can describe it is as follows. In a regular setup you just kind of learn where your truck is going to bottom and top out and wait for the thump. Granted aftermarket stuff generally has a more comfortable thump than OEM stuff. With these Falcons the thump is almost fully mitigated unless you are just absolutely thrashing it. It is much like a trampoline effect. You jump you are coming down you feel your feet get caught by the trampoline mat but motion does not stop, you continue downward travel but feel very controlled until you reach the end of the controlled downward travel and you are gently brought back up. Kind of a crappy explanation but the best I can come up with but when you drive the truck with the Falcons you will notice what I am talking about.

I would so be in on this if I wasn't trying to save up for a canopy.

But if you can't enjoy the ride to the place to use the canopy ...

But the bump stops are in the rear. Am I missing something? Would you say the same about the SumoSprings instead of their bump stops?

Canopy price won't jump $300 after this group buy, but Falcons will. Just saying. :gossip:

The way I understand it, so I could be wrong,, there are still bump stops up front. They are built into the coil overs.

Watch the video I linked. There are also external bump stops and internal on the fronts.
But I believe you will have less of an adverse effect running something different in the rear because the ZRT is tuned specifically to the front factory coil and not a part of the rear shocks.

Okay but I thought air bags like SumoSprings were only in the rear. Maybe I am wrong - I just do not know.

    Correct.

My comment of I absolutely would not do it was in reference @Rodtheviking asking about using a spring other than the factory front coil spring not about the rears.

The rear bump stop has no effect on the actual function of the rear shock. So I don’t think there would be a drastic difference in the rear by using air bags (especially since they are adjustable) and likely not much using Sumo Springs.

The fronts are a whole different ballgame when it comes to the bump stops they very much are correlated directly to one specific spring set.

This looks very tempting, especially since I have the time, and just ordered CB shackles and shims to hold me over for a while. The only thing that's gonna suck is paying $100 in sales tax

Thanks for the tag @French Avocado. This is a smoking deal and if there was any way I could join in for the GB, I totally would. Unfortunately, other things in life are a priority currently.

Count me out for now but thanks for putting this together @French Avocado

I am interested but waiting to see if they port eAdapt shocks over from their Jeep line. So far its a "we have no plans for Tundra eAdapt". Plus I just bought a Harrop.

    "Bad News
The availability is limited due to supply shortages as experienced with every other shock manufacturer. We may have to wait 60-120 days after ordering."

There is some component of the shock manufacturing process that makes all shocks in short supply right now. We will try to expedite and beg TeraFlex to get these supplied as soon as possible but it could be 2-4 months.

For what it's worth, when I was on the phone with Teraflex they actually said their backlog/issue isn't supply constraint, it's an explosion in demand. Good problem to have for them.
