My new tundra should be here next week according to the dealer. If it arrives on time I’ll most likely be in. We have until 4/20 to decide correct?

Great deal on these! I would recommend you replace your rear shock bushings/cushions at the same time just to start off with all new components.

2 each of 47131-0C010 Shock Bushing

2 each of 48505-0C010 Shock Cushion

What year is your truck? I’ll be installing on a 20 with 17K miles. Any reason to replace the stock bushing other than age or miles?

Man...interested but need a few days to decide if I am in. Also, need that time to come up with what I tell the wife when another box of stuff shows up for the truck...

Haven’t even made the first payment and this forum has cost me a good chunk of change!

At least for the excuse to the wife you have time, will take 60-120 days as stated in first post to get the item. So you have time to work out what to tell her. But yes, this forums takes a truck you love and shows you how yo improve it even more!

They're from a 2019, Non-TRD, Tundra. The black shocks, whatever they are. 2k miles. The guy I got em from just wanted them out of his garage so he just handed them over. Free is good!

    IMG_20190712_172212444.jpg

Yes, powder coated. Not a perfect color match but, close enough. The shop I took them to happened to be doing another job in this color and the owner said he'd give me a super discount if I wanted to throw them in there with the other job. So, in they went!

Dang, potential 6 month wait. I couldn't handle that wait after dropping that kind of coin. Wonder if some of these deals we are starting to see with long lead times beacuase of shortage are to keep the doors open until the supply chain catches up.

FYI - this is the standard policy on the website
"As most of you are aware, we here at Stage 3 Motorsports offer free shipping through UPS Ground and UPS Freight on all of our orders to the lower 48 states (Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico not included). Throwing a shipping fee on top of your favorite Mustang performance and accessories is hogwash, as far as we're concerned, and our competition can have fun with that gimmick. Still, there are a few things you should know about our Free Shipping Policy here at Stage 3:"
But for this group buy we can ask.

Does anyone know if the rear shocks are compatible with air bags? I've got ride rite air bags with Daystar cradles, and would hate to lose out on the $ I've spent on those bags + compressor. It looks like the new bump stop is higher than the old one, but that shouldn't be an issue considering my rear unladen ride quality is garbage due to the bags.

I've been wanting to level the truck.... if they will work with the bags then I am in... otherwise I'm going to have a tough decision to make

Call TeraFlex customer service and ask. I asked about Sumosprings instead of their bump stops and they said it would work fine.

I don't have any reason to think they shouldn't work. If you post up some pics of your current situation I might be able to make a more confident decision on that though.

    Will do today.

My setup looks like https://www.tundras.com/threads/air...e-suspension-ride-quality.81434/#post-2059562 this, where the air bags are "cradled" by the cradle on the mount. inherently, the entire setup does not compress (even with no air in the bags) to the point of the factory jounce bumpers, I'm pretty sure the cradle would smack my frame if there was no air in the bags.

I would still try to confirm with them, but I am not seeing anything that leads me to believe it wouldn't work.

@French Avocado @memario1214 just got off the phone with Teraflex, super informative!

They said that the replacement bump stops are progressive and the goal is to help with the situation when you actually hit the bump stops -- in my case, running air bags is not an issue at all. Woohoo! I'm in on this group buy.

Stupid question, the lead time which is 60-120 days from order is from the point at which the group buy ends right? If the group buy gets extended, is that going to push the lead time out?

Manufacturing is continuing regardless of our order. I do not think it has an impact on timing - and I do not think we will need to extend either. Welcome you are seven of six!

I asked the guys at Shock Surplus the same thing and they didn't see why not. Just keep it on the bottom clip setting with a lift spring like the Eibach, same as you would do on a Bilstein 5100.

Results may vary and probably void warranty though. As its most likely a CYA policy.
