That's what I thought but something was telling me he thought they had a second set of holes that matched up.

Everything I’ve read says that the RCF TB bolts right up with no modifications on a Harrop. The adapter and snout porting is only needed for the magnuson.

That is what he mentioned as well but wasn't 100% sure and told me to see if I could get someone to verify.

Well, he said it himself a year ago on the boosted page. I’ve seen it come up a few times and that’s always the impression I got anyway. Never verified it personally.

I just went out and unbolted my intake, throttle body, adapter and verified my RC-F throttle body doesn't mount on my TVS2650 without the adapter...if one side of the TB is bolted onto the SC, the TB is about 3/8" from the holes on the other side lining up. I also verified port matching isn't necessary for the adapter on the Harrop...at least on mine it transitions smoothly from the TB to the SC.

Looking at the picture posted above, my RCF TB won't mount in that orientation because there is a heater hose in the way of the stepper motor and plug, I mounted mine with the plug at the top as specified in Harrop's instructions.

So you didn't need to port the snout at all? Just bolted right on?

That's correct, bolts on, smooth transition from throttle body to inside the SC snout.

I think the porting is only for the Magnusson SC, as well as the loctite gasket eliminator...the Harrop has an o-ring and the adapter has an o-ring so no gasket material needed.

From the link I posted before it implies you can.:

The Prospeed Billet RCF Throttle Body Adapter Kit for the 2007+ Toyota Sequoia's allows a bolt-on solution to run the larger Lexus RCF throttle body which is a direct plug-in electronically. On supercharged applications, this decreases vacuum before the blower which results in more boost and higher power! This can also be combined with our 4.50” Race Intake system for maximum gains!

I'm debating to go with Prospeed's upgrade and custom tune, how far should I go? I'm thinking:

    - Pulley
    - RCF tb

Should I go with the 750cc injectors and the pump? anyone has done this and still daily drive it and use it for truck duty? or should I just save up and bring the truck to them one day and get the whole thing built?

    Ok
A fact on the headaches. But also looking at probably 10x the labor fee.

I've thought about that, it's 5000km round trip, and probably takes 1.5 day down (I've driven down to Tampa in similar time), all in all that'll eat up a whole week which will be hard to do, and I figure if I was to ship/bring truck down, I might as well get the shortblock built so I can order the "TRX LOL" plate.

They quoted me $5400 for the install. I did the math every which way to get it to them and back and no matter if I drove or shipped it I was looking at least $1000 each way. And that was with gas prices 6 months ago. So I was realistically looking at about $7500 for the install all said and done. My local shop did it for $1500. I have nothing against ProSpeed by any means. But I just couldn't justify an extra 6 G's.

What did the install consist of? that seems kinda high, I calculated with the s/c kit it took around 15-18hrs all together, that's taking the time too.

For the time being if you’re looking to make a little more power I’d do the RCF TB, smaller pulley, and a minimum of 650cc injectors. That should be good for 600ish whp on a hub dyno with your other mods for sure. Then if you blow it up down the road, just swap those parts over to your new built block if that’s your end game. Any time it’s going to wind up at the Prospeed shop though you’re going to take it home with a massive bill is what I gather. They do premium work at a premium price. I bet you would probably get a little more affordable built engine from XAT.

Edit: probably want the Prospeed fuel rails or parallel the rails with larger fuel lines as well.

    Not sure. I think a lot of it is you're paying for the name. My shop charged me 15hrs at $100/hr. That's where the $1500 came from. And it was their first time doing an SC on a Tundra. This is direct from their email. Didn't mention anything more;

"Total labor time for this would be around 40 hours total at $5400"

Do your own labor everywhere possible, or find a local you trust, don't over-pay a speed shop.
