    No......just....no.....

Opt for suspension ride like @aramirez73 said. Toytec's shocks are valved just for toyotas.

I run this and I have had no issues. I recommend it if you want to retain those components.

A friend has the same kind of lift on his 15 Tundra with 35's. It rides fine on the pavement and gravel. He doesn't like to take his truck off road and through brush, so its mainly for looks and clearance with out actual performance. I called him the other day to try to pull me out of a situation, slow driving through the rutted clay road was fine.

Looks like they have a 2-4-6 inch kits. It says it retains all your TRD PRO parts, just adds height. They even mention the 2 inches PRO models get out of the factory so 2=4, 4=6, 6=8.

I've read quite a few complaints on that kit. Look into the BOSS or Radflo kit

I've been considering the BOSS kit as well. But after talking to some people, even Toytec themselves, they said the TU3 spacer kit would be just fine for me. I dont intend to do any off-roading of any kind. $300 vs $1800. Maybe later I'll upgrade.

an in coil spacer is better than all height additions on top of the strut.

I looked up that kit, and I think it's just a spacer that goes in on top and bolts in. I'm sure the ready lift is the same way?

Most spacer lifts are the same way. I could've sworn toytec's was half in half top......

Here is the most recent top mounted spacer on stock shocks failure that i have seen. These are the TRD shock version for the Tundra like what i had stock on my Rock Warrior.

Wonder if OP will chime in and state that he wants 6" of lift while retaining the stock TRD pro suspension

He did link the 4" readylift and state he wants to keep the 2" Pro stock

    4+2=6

Oh wait yea pro shock is built with a 2" lift currently. If you get the 4" lift kit and add on the top spacer then you will have a 6" lift on a 4" drop bracket. Might not be the best option. Would need to go with either a smaller top spacer or jump up to a 6" drop bracket lift with the 4" size top spacer.

I'd be curious what the "fail" rate is a spacer lifts. Sure, we've all seen pics like Brian posted above (and I've seen those very pics posted several times on different forums when people ask about spacer lifts), but how many people have zero issues compared to the ones that had problems.

I ran a spacer lift on my GMC for 9yrs w/ zero issues. Of course, my trucks are pavement queens, so I know that reduces the chances of failure.

So, to the OP, I personally don't think spacer lifts are 100% horrible depending on your intended use.

Yeah I had spacers before my BOSS coilovers. They were fine until I moved to a city with horrible road conditions and could feel every single bump up to my teeth, plus my trailblazing to my hunting camp didn't help the longevity. It was time for me to get new shocks and opted for coilovers due to my situation and time on the trails. Served me well to do that

Appreciate all the reponses to my question.

The intended use for me is going to be light offroading and sand use in the desert. I dont want to change out any of the suspension to accomodate a taller lift. I am looking to go up a few more inches to accomodate larger tire, while being able to retain the stock ride feel.

I have lifted wrangler unlimited as well and I was getting tired of all the bouncing around, so I opted for what I believe to be the best truck out there.

    Thanks again for your input
