Have any pics looking down the side? Curious to see how the 0 offset looks with no fenders.

Great choice. The 0 offset is the perfect stance imo, especially with flares. Nice and aggressive without getting stupid sticking out too far for offroading. You're gonna love them.

Hopefully that wets ur appetite a bit while u wait to get them and put on. I'm beyond thrilled with the 0 offset paired with a 17x8.5, it's the perfect setup imo. Especially with a 35x12.5 or 37x12.5, I cant wait to see yours. I liked yours before, now I'm gonna love it. Good luck, and like I said before, great choice on size and style. Cant wait to see it.

Do it. I know we were both concerned about the steer kit and these. I'm here to tell you first hand, you're good to go. Nothing to worry about in this size. It's such a great combo. U need to hurry and catch up, I've already put a couple k on mine. U can't let me get a 5k rotate in on mine before u even get yours on now lol.

Yeah buddy. Looks fn awesome. 17s and 35s are a great choice. The whole setup looks great. Lmk how u like them tires somewhere down the road. I love my pitbull rockers but when they wear out I can't justify spending that much for new ones. Now if I found the same deal I did last time I'd jump all over it again. Keep up the great work.

Just bumping this question because I didn't see an answer and because I am curious as well. If not 275/70s, then maybe 255/75s which are similar?

While I'm at it and since this is my very first forum post, I should say "thanks" to all of you regular contributors. I'm coming off a couple of 2001 model-year Tundras that I've had since 2000, and have been lurking and learning for a few years as a 3rd gen replacement became imminent.

I just got a 2018 Limited Crewmax and the most glaring issue - which I didn't anticipate during all my research - was how awful and jarring the truck was going to ride on my rural roads with these 20", low-profile, urban wheels. I'm thrilled to see that others of you have have experimented and found solutions. So this is my first mandatory upgrade but, like @easycrawler, I need to keep it simple for now - without lifts or mods or cutting - until I can afford it and until I'm 100% sure I'm going to keep the truck.

Thanks for any feedback, even if not an exact answer.

Congrats on the new truck! If you go with 17” wheels, I’m guessing you might be able to fit 285/70/17 sized tires on stock suspension. Might have slight rubbing on the little front flap behind the bumper. Maybe someone else with that size can chime in and confirm.

285/70's will fit with stock suspension, but it stuffs the front fender well area full, not my style, I like a little clearance. But I am keeping my suspension stock. I'll be going with 275/70's

Thank you! Interestingly, I just discovered that that's the size that Toyota recommended on the OEM Rock Warrior rims, so that might be a good indicator too. However, they appear to have had more offset (50mm) than any aftermarket wheels I've seen referenced yet, and I'm unfamiliar with that trim level and whether it had a lift.

[Thinking out loud for my own reference: 285/70/R17 would be 32.7" diameter vs 31.9" for stock 275/55/R20, or 2.5% larger, equating to 1.5 mph error at 60 mph gauge reading]

It will be a little while before I do it, waiting on my current tires to wear out. Here is a pic of a members truck with icon rebounds and 285/70's with stock suspension.

I forgot about the Rock Warrior wheels. That trim level had stock suspension. The TRD Pro has 2” of lift up front with a much nicer suspension but 18” wheels. Interestingly enough, Toyota raced the Baja 1000 (or was it the 500?) with a TRD Pro in the stock class but used 17” Rock Warrior rims instead of the 18” rims that come stock with it.

Ewwwhh u daredevil u lol. Good thing u got that aftermarket bumper. My stock needed a healthy cut with just 0. But then again my tires are probably way more aggressive than most. Love what you've done.
