Thinking about getting rid of my RW wheels for some method 701s in matte black. Too much chrome on my truck :eek2:

    Thoughts?

    17x9 +1 Fuel Hardlines on 315/70/17's.

Seemed to be fitting fine as the truck is on a leveling kit, but I heard a dragging noise when going down declines and saw this.

    IMG_20200721_125232.jpg

Any idea on why these could be contacting?

Original wheels were 17x8.5 +6 and these are 17x9 +1 so very little adjustment there, same tires as well.

I had this same problem after getting new coil overs on. Not sure why probably something to do with the geometry. If you grease this area (and there back side) you will stop having the grinding noise when you cut the wheel all the way.

Oh I’d gladly take them off your hands. Been searching high and low for a set. But if I wasn’t being selfish I’d say keep them. One of my favorite factory wheels and such relics too.

Your choice in bumpers, wheels, and tires- well done! Sits perfect. In fact it would be perfect, if it was a 1794. :D

Do you have any head-on shots showing how much the tire sticks out? Considering getting those wheels but they only make them in 0 offset which I'm on the fence about.

Thanks BWillie! Have you had any issues with rocks being thrown up on your body? I'm in MT with tons of gravel and rocks and feel like my body will get destroyed if I don't get flares or mudguards... But your truck looks so good with them wheels

Anyone have feedback on the Fuel Shok D665 17x9 (Gunmetal) wheels? Wanting to go down to a 17 inch wheel once these Trail Grapplers wear out.
