Nice truck minus the chrome rims. People think low mileage means big $$ but fail to understand what age does to rubber. Regardless of mileage, there is quite a bit of maintenance that truck will need simply due to that fact.

It's still a nice truck though

Guilty. I work less than 3 miles from where I live. I can walk, bike or drive to work if needed. 90% of the mileage on my truck is leisure and I still rarely clock more than 3k mikes per year. I've driven less than 500 miles this year with the pandemic and lockdown so I'm on target for a sub-1,500 mile year.

Devil's advocate: It can be easily argued it's wasteful being a 'road warrior' racking up lots of miles. Some guys I work with sit in their car for an hour or more each way to get that extra jingle in their pockets. That's 10+ hours per work week sitting on the road they could've spent time with their kids, their SO, their dog, fishing, mudding, hiking, camping, waxing or whatever. :D

That truck looks great. I have the same color leather, I wish my bolsters looked that nice! Mine are pretty tattered with barely twice the mileage.

I didn't notice that part of the listing, that would explain the low mileage. Here in South Florida low mileage trucks show up every so often but they have rebuilt titles. Depending on what the damage was and who fixed it would ultimately be the most important factors. Then you would essentially be buying a keeper, difficult to sell.

Agreed! If you're driving 25K+ miles a year, get a Prius or similarly economical car.

    However, those rims are hideous.

I took a job 1.5 hours from my house to get my foot in the door being a Graphic Designer. Worst 15 hours a week in the car of my life...1.5 years and i was done. the sorrow of all the time i was missing listening to my kids play on the phone while i drove made the, really insignificant, pay decrease in my new job thats only 25 mins from home and 3 days in the office a week (pre Covid), a simple decision. I couldn't agree with you more!

That being said, if me and my family are going anywhere, were driving my truck cuz i love to drive it haha!

We are all underpaid and trained to chase that dollar. 2 parents working and still barely making it. That's the America we have lived in since the late 70's.

I agree with you though. Keep your overhead down and enjoy the family and all the great things to do in America

Instantly made me think of a Dead Kennedys song from the late 80s.

I'm not a fan of the wheels or the llift (or the price).

And the "wasteful" comment was sarcasm.

Yea I love my truck but if I had $20k I’d buy a newer one I think. Just for the sake of dry rot from sitting.

Yes, I also would have been too embarrassed to drive it much.

There’s a dealer where I live and their business model is to find and sell exceptionally low mileage vehicles like this one. I’ve looked at 10 years old cars with less than 50k miles that showed their age. Just because it’s low mileage doesn’t mean it’s a good vehicle to buy...age is always a factor.

When I got my truck it was 14 years old and had 139k. Only 10k per year. I was satisfied with that. 1 owner was a perk too.

The wheels on this truck will haunt my dreams.

The other scam trick is truck for sale in the parts section. Truck $ is usually to good to be true cheap. Beware!
