I've been looking at aftermarket wheels and am wondering if I need to add/buy separate tmps sensors for the after market rims. I have read that cars/trucks made in 2007+ needs to have tmps. Nothing is coming up though when I am looking to make sure I dont have to worry about any. thanks

Look at the valve stems; if they’re rubber you don’t have sensors, if they’re metal you have sensors.

If you have sensors they should switch over to aftermarket.

Thanks Casper421 for the tip. I will look at it once I get home. I have read that some first gens have a tmps reset and I dont have that so I'm thinking I dont have any. I am pretty sure I have rubber stems though. Like a bike tire stem

I don't believe they showed up until 05.

If they’re like a bike tire stem, you don’t have sensors and no need to buy/add any.
