Short story long ... got the Banks Pedal Monster for my '25 Platinum and it does what it advertises.
Obviously it does not add HP. It basically removes some of the throttle positions so when stepping on the pedal it gives the effect of quicker throttle response / less hesitation.
I think of the throttle as having 100 pedal positions and with the Banks, instead of having positions 1,2,3,4,5,6, etc. ... it gives you 3,6,9,11,13,15 etc.
Different settings removes different throttle positions and gives different results.
It's slightly better than just leaving the truck stock and pushing harder on the pedal.

What is really causing the initial hesitation and preventing the truck from being responsive is the traction control.
When taking off from a complete stop the engine responds to the pedal without hesitation ... but as the RPM's go up, the power is not transferred to the rear wheels. The motor is revving but the truck is barely moving. The rear wheels do not match the motor. (I'm guessing this is hurting fuel economy as well).
The proof being that if I turn off traction control, all the way off (long press of the tc button), the truck responds as is should. The hesitation is gone.

On my Gen2 I was able to unplug the steering angle sensor which disabled traction control.
I drove it for over a decade without traction control and I lived to tell the story.

So my question is ... On Gen3, is there a way to disable traction control so that it is always off?

Maybe pulling a fuse, but I'd be surprised if that didn't throw the truck in limp mode. Using the button every time you drive is going to be the only way shy of tuning or yanking the fuse.

On the 2nd gen you can pull the red 50 amp ABS fuse and disable traction completely; if you want to keep ABS but lose trac you’ll have to do the button method.

a few years ago there was a guy on here that made a time delayed circuit that would disable the traction control (via the button) every time he started his truck, sounds like that’s what you really need, I’ll have to see if I can find it

I wonder if one could modify one of these to work with the traction control button.
It's like pushing the auto stop/start button every time I start the truck.

    That would be IDEAL!
Someone needs to develop that ...
unfortunately, probably wont happen due to liability ...someone will crash and people will be sued.

The other thing we need is a plug and play gizmo that keeps the truck running after remote-starting and opening a door.

A different remote start system fixes that problem

I talked extensively with another guy about a switch to disable the power from the ABS fuse instead of having to pull it all the time; but we both concluded the risk in a crash from insurance denying the claim would be an issue. People made a switch for the FJ to disable the ABS due to the way the system is set up, but for the 2nd gen tundra you would have to do it for the fuse box 50 amp fuse

Actually thinking about the system now, it would be very easy to put an inline switch before the power gets to the 50 amp fuse using spade connectors in the fuse terminal, then putting a different 50 amp fuse after the switch and then linking that back to the second fuse terminal in the fuse box

issue persists of insurance though, first thing in crash to do would be pull that out and replace the fuse

I had that on my old truck. A former member @BlueBottle made them for us but like people said, due to liability issues, he only made a few.

It was such a simple system, I’m sure anyone with some electrical knowledge can make one. Soon as I started my truck it replicated pushing the Trac button 3 times. The best thing about it was you could reset to Trac back on anytime by pressing the button again.

Yessir that’s it! Do you still have it by chance? I might be able to reverse it
