anyone have any feedback on these flares? They claim to be bolt-less installation which i like.

My tire/wheel setup currently sticks out about 1/2" past stock fenders, will adding the fender flares make the tires look too small? How far out do the flares stick out past stock?

Any feedback or pics are appreciated. Thanks!

We have done a couple of them by customer request. Both have had issues. Biggest issue was that they didn't want to sit flush on the truck and left inconsistent gap between the fender and body. Just some of our past experiences.

What is your current tire size and wheel offset? I think +12 offset and less would be okay with flares. Anymore offset than that, the wheels may seem too far tucked in and will take away from the aggressive look

I have them on my 2004 and one of the flares does not sit flush like mentioned before, it rides about 1/8 inch off the side. I think this side may be slightly dented? However, they were easy to put on and do catch the debris from my tires which stick out some. I have 9x18 wheels with a -12 offset with 265 75 18 tires.

Been looking into fenders too. Not sure which ones to go with. Almost pulled the trigger on some cheap $150 flares on eBay.

I have the Bushwacker flares no fit issues at all with them. I think if your tires stick out 1/2 inch now they will set in about 1" from the edge of the flare.

I had them on for about an hour then took them off. I have +18 offset it took away the aggressiveness of the truck but I'm sure would of worked well if you want to keep debris off the truck

I have the extend a fenders which is about 1.5" of coverage. I'm running +12 wheels. Mine sits fine and flush all around. I had a shop install some clear vinyl where the flares meet the body as I have read many people had it rubbing the paint off over time.

I like the fact that you can get them paint matched. But I like the shape better of the extend a fenders + they have better coverage for my setup. 1.5" vs 0.75".

No issues with Bushwacker fender flares. I have 295/70/18 on 18 mm offset wheels and tires are just about even with flares as you could see.

By the way, I loved the Bushwacker pocket style fender flares so much that I had to get the tires/wheels to match them. Then in order to install them, I had to lift the truck, haha. Originally I was not planning to lift the truck nor was I planning to get new wheels/tires. I love the Bushwacker look.

Mine are zero also and I have 3/4" bolt on spacers so they just barely stick out past the flare. I have 305/55/20 toyo tired but also a BDS 4 1/2 lift.

I have +25 offset on an 8.5" wide wheel. Running 275/70/18 tires, so they stick out about 1/2" outside fenders now. Not sure if that would look stupid once flares were put on. Don't really want to pay all the money for flares and then find out I need new wheels to make them look good.

Thats what I am worried about. I have +25 on 8.5" wide wheel currently. How far would you say the flares add to the width of the truck? I think i remember reading they are about 1.75" wide.

Yes they are 1.75" wide. I have them on my truck and love them. I run 35x12.50xR20 on BMF Novicane wheels. I think they look great!

Moto Metal 961. The wheels come with two accent pieces, one in red, the other in chrome. I tried red pieces first then I like it so I never even got to try the chrome pieces.

Did Bushwackers on 2 Tacoma's without issue at all. Yes they do need some "adjustments" if they don't sit right buts its pretty easy and a couple of hours work on a Tacoma that had factory flares on it that I had to pull off first. Both sets were Linex coated and I will do the same for my Tundra at some point. The truck bed sides are just a big damn canvas for parking lot painters to hit with whatever brush they happen to be using that day (carts, cars, paint, hands, fat bodies, canes, wheel chairs, etc).
