Anyone have these are their Tundra? Can’t find any pics out there. Since they are only 8.5” wide they may be a good choice for a non lifted Tundra with 275/70 18’s.

Damn these look really nice, and the fact they mention they fit the TRD center cap is pretty cool. I'll add this to my list of considerations...

I'm strongly considering these over methods and I think a 295 would fit it just fine.

I’ve been impressed with all of the black rhino wheels I’ve seen in person. Quality seems on par with Method and SCS which is surprising from a bigger company.

BMC was done, I used SDHQ filler plates to finish the cut. I also used Coachbuilder front bumper shims, massaged the front fender liners, and I had already trimmed the skid plate. Tires are Yokohama Geolandar X-AT in 35x12.5R17.

You don’t need the Coachbuilder shims, but you’ll have to remove or really get the fender liner out of the way. I knew 35’s might rub, but I was in position to make it happen without guessing if it fits. Some have fit 35s without a BMC, depends on the tire and especially the offset.

Not available for the Tundra. They do option them in bronze for other fitments.

We have black on order (back order actually).

I wish they had them in bronze. :(

And to be honest, I wish they were +25 instead of +10, but we will take our chances

You are running the 17"? I bought one to test fit, since Black Rhino doesn't list the Tundra as compatible. There is very little gap to the caliper, I could get the wheel to spin, but I was concerned enough with the fitment that I decided to look elsewhere. Can you post more pictures showing the fitment? Any issue with balancing weight placement?

Yeah sure am, I’ve been running them since August with zero issues. I made sure when they balanced them, to ensure the weights did not make contact.

Thanks, maybe I didn't have mine sitting quite right and I should test fit it again. Can you take a picture of the clearance between the rim and caliper?

Wow, thats way too close to the caliper.
I've heard bad stories of people on other forums running BBK with minimal clearance with the wheels. A pebble/stone got wedge in-between - gouging the wheel.

Yep, I won't run em if they are really going to be like this, but maybe I did a bad job on my test fit, that's why I want to see what John's look like.

Anyone running a 17” is running it close to their calipers. There are plenty on this forum that wheel way harder than I do. I bet there’s a few stories, bound to be some. Rocks come in all sizes, luck of the draw for which one you wedge, be it a 17, 18, 20.

Well, that is about 3x the clearance I have between the calipers and Tacoma Wheels on my 4Runner.

Looks awesome. I just saw the black rhino wheels on the net and I like their Barstow series also. BTW, what's the size of your tires?

A few minor rubs that I will deal with shortly. Quite an aggressive stance compared to stock, but not too crazy.

Fender Flares may be in order come springtime.

Overall, I'm very happy with the entire setup.

I’m putting a 3/1 level kit on my wife’s rig. Hoping to put 295/70r18 w/ 18x8.5 black rhinos on it. Will it look like Old Man Blue’s ride as far as the tire peek outside the body?
