Anyone Else Hooked on FortNite?

ok, so I have a lot of time to kill today. If you have a child of video game age, they are most likely playing the PvP FortNite game. My son has me hooked on this. Any other victims out there?

 

Not me but my son and daughter play it on xbox and their phones.

 

That was my case as well and I watched for a while and then finally tried it out. Very entertaining, challenging and addictive.

 

Instated to play but not hooked just play because my 8 yr old son likes to make fun of me because I'm not as good as he is

 

It does take skill and practice. My son can run circles around me, but I play more by stragity than run and gun. Last night I actually won a solo match without firing a shot.

 

Farthest I have gone is only 3 survivors

 

I play, but not very well. Mostly play after 930pm after work. Between that and Payday 2 it's pretty good stress relief. Screen name is "some mothereffer".

 

I play a little bit have around 50 wins it’s fun something to play during the winter months

 

That's an impressive number. You must be a master builder. I have about 10 across solo, duo and squad but my kid has over a hundred. I usually play after 10 when the kids go to bed and meet up with a group of other dads and usually play squad. Don't know them in real life but we all get along in the game

 

Building is everything always try to build higher then your opponent. Not a master at all always learning, hitting your shots and being strategic is key I usually play solo and duo I like duo more cause it’s more relaxed and I can just chill and talk to my cousin

Yes, I agree. I"m a fairly decent builder when being attacked, but I'm also one of those that build mini bases and use them as decoys. Priceless.. the advantage of duo over squad is fewer people to worry about jumping you. But if you play with a squad consistently and you all know Rachel's strengths and weaknesses, then squad is quite entertaining.

 

Nice, I must have run into him a few times . Tell him I want my rocket launcher back.

My son plays all the time and has his pwn squad. I tried but couldnt get into it. I rather play PUBG mobile

 

I tried PUBG but just could not get into it. My biggest complaints are the color schemes whee everything kinds of blends together and updates are rare. FortNire is constantly updated and changes the environment, equipment and combat types. Each their own I guess.
