Yes, assume it's a clip in part you can buy, never fixed it.

They're called "window felts". I only have part numbers for my truck, which is a Standard Cab, so they won't be relevant to your truck.

Thanks. Is it an easy fix? Any long term issues leaving as is?

From what little I've read here, it should be pretty straightforward. If you leave it as is, I would imagine that eventually the partially detached portion will tear off, this will likely allow environmental debris to then fall between the glass and the outer door and collect inside the door which may wreak havoc with the mechanical and electrical components. Organic material might even begin to decay producing an odor and cause corrosion.

Wynnded described it well. You’ll have more water in the door and likely clog the door drains with debris, leading to bad things.

Belt moldings. There’s an integrated plastic clip at the back of the front door, front of the back door. A 90 degree pick tool is perfect for releasing it. The rest is held on over metal tabs that grab the inside flange. Drop the window, press down firmly and roll the inner edge up towards you. You’ll feel it click off the tabs. Goes under the mirror a bit but that section is short enough to slide out.
