Super intrigued by that gun. I’ve carried a shield for a long time and would like a few extra rounds but don’t want to sacrifice length. I can handle slightly more width. I know in the beginning they had some hiccups but it seems like it has pretty well fixed it’sself. I’m looking for opinions from those who use it.

Yeh I have p365 purchased it during Christmas. I have put about 250-300 rounds through it so far. I like the size for conceal carry. So far no issue with with mine. I think at this point most of the issues where the ones made prior to July 2018. Any P365 made after that I have not seen or heard of anymore problems.

i've got one. Love it, barely notice it when I carry, shoots nice, and no issues. Can't go wrong in my opinion.

Have a LEO friend that owns the second generation p365 that supposedly fixed all the issues. He said all of his rounds exhibit light primer strikes and while he hasn't experienced an issue yet he worries that eventually the primer could break at a time of need. As such he has relegated it to range only use. When I told him I was leaning towards one he recommended the new G48 instead. I have never been a fan of most glocks as they just never felt right in my hand but I had been carrying the G43+1 mag for a while, but I wanted a little more in the way of capacity so I began looking at the p365. I went and checked out the G48 and it immediately felt great in my hand so I got one. It has been shooting very well and because I already had the G43 I can combine it's slide with the G48 lower to create a G43X if I choose to do so. Just something to consider while looking.

My retirement gun is a sig 45cal model 220. I just don't care for the double/ single action on hand guns. I would be nice if it had DAK

I told my wife last week I wanted her to try one of these. She's moving from carrying in her purse to on her person, but she's tiny. Hopefully, we find something she's comfortable carrying.

I looked at the Sig P365. Decided it was not for me. I'm very happy with my 9 Shield.

A State compliant model should be hitting our gun shops soon. I'm going to do a trial at the local rental range first. Plus most of my gun funds are going towards Tundra mods right now.

I switched from my Glock 19/26 to a P365 for conceal carry but that only lasted briefly just due to my personal preference. I just could not get used to the grip difference after carrying my 19 and 26. However, it is still in my collection. If you are comfortable with it, go with it. It is a very nice gun and will serve you well.
