As the title states, did anybody else cause a chain-reaction buying effect when you showed your Tundra to friends/family/coworkers?

I think I sold 3 Tundras after I purchased mine. A neighbor ogled my Tundra right after I bought it... two weeks later, one showed up in his driveway.

A friend of my brother was unhappy with his Chevy 2500. He test drove mine and he ended up trading for one shortly after.

I let another friend drive mine home from a hunting trip because I was falling asleep at the wheel. He dropped me off at my hotel room, and called about 45 minutes later asking if he could take his wife for a spin in it. He has been searching for the past month for a good buy.

Loaned my 07 to my neighbor to move his Motorcycle, he went out and bought a 13 that week. (That was in 14). There are now 6 Tundras within a 1/4 mile of me, though I really only know my immediate neighbor, and I upgraded to a 17.

I don’t know firsthand if I got anyone to buy a tundra. But I know I’ve gotten a few people on board with buying a Toyota. Even a few that had a Toyota and we’re contemplating getting something else, ended up buying another Toyota.

I didn't but I bought my first one back in 2013 after seeing the neighbor across the street buy a brand new one. he traded in about 2 years later for another new Tundra and then I did last year for my 2018. Few months ago he traded that in for the new Nissan Titan... :puke:

I ended up buying mine after realizing just how much I missed full-sized pickups. I had a 4 door 4X4 '14 Tacoma which gave me 60,000 trouble-free miles, but I didn't realize how cramped I was in the cab, and how uncomfortable the seats were (to me) until I test drove the Tundra. Plus the bed was tiny.

There is a lot going on in the oil field where I live, and I noticed more and more companies were adding Tundras to their fleets, so I thought "What the hell... I will check one out". I drove about 6 of them and walked out of dealerships at least a dozen times before striking a deal (in addition to searching for countless hours online). I paid about $1000 more than I wanted to, but ultimately, I got exactly what I wanted.

I am the type that gets severe "buyer's remorse" over nearly every purchase, and to be honest, I haven't regretted my Tundra once.

I had wanted one for awhile and after driving through my neighborhood every day and seeing 5 different houses with one in the driveway I felt obligated to join the club.

I test drove a Titan. It wasn't bad, but it just wasn't something I thought I would be happy with, or something I could live with for many years. Plus, I have heard rumors that they are not as reliable... but they may have just been rumors, I really don't know.

Nope. Once I told them how much I've "invested" in upgrades they decided to stick to sedans:rofl:
