Hi, I'm new here and read some interactions about Taco Tunes. I've invested a little under $1K and waited for over two months with the products supposed to be shipped "very soon" for quite a bit of it. The ad on the site did say it could take up to 60 days to ship so I was patient. At 58 days I checked in to see how soon. I was offered a full refund. My answer was yes and thank you. That was on 10/12/18. Yesterday I offered to take a set of front and rear speakers and just take the refund for the remainder. I was told they could issue a full refund. I accepted again and mentioned as soon as I see it I'll order the speakers, but still no refund.
I am hoping for a happy outcome here but it's not looking good.

I'd like to hear what the rest of you have to say.

Welcome Dan. I've never heard anything bad about TT. I think @1UPPER might have had his stereo done in their shop?

What are they saying the problem is? I am on the fence between their amp and harness or one off Amazon with a LOC. Not getting their sub as I need some storage behind seat.

I ordered the System 1 with front and rear speakers, received it in less than a week and had a great customer service experience. I had one non- working tweeter and Daniel shipped me a new one the next day.

I've heard of both extremes. Some race about their services and products. Some talk about excessive wait times, horrible communication and low quality stuff. Kinda weird it seems to be one or the other

Yes my two previous Tundra's have had Taco Tunes stereos in them. My experience has always been great!

Hi this is Daniel - Rob is out until Monday. Can you PM me your order and or ticket number? I will be happy to check this out for you.

BTW, we don't have any systems for Tundra on back order? Is this for a Tundra?

no issues on my side. I ordered multiple speakers adapters (3 different orders) and all got them within a week of ordering. Also chat with CS was good.

I did and it’s been a great experience.

The dealership turn keyed it for me. I did the top of the line system; added the sound processor; and upgraded the subs. Also had them acoustic mat all the doors and rear wall.

Install is nice and clean. Sound is good. I wouldn’t say it’s great. However, I own my own audio video company and am rather picky.

The tweeters can be a little harsh at higher volumes and I have adjusted them way down with the sound processor. Also the subs can be a little bloated in the mid bass. I have been able to dial those in pretty well.

However, you have to consider the fact that it’s an extremely good budget system. It’s not top of the line but it sounds very good and hits a good price level.

I don’t think the people who buy a Taco tunes system will notice the small things I’m talking about. If you would you’d be spending double or triple the cost.

For me I just wanted a nice budget system that sounded better than the trash Toyota puts in their vehicles. I’m
Very happy with it and would highly recommend it to people looking for a price performance audio system.

Also, customer service has been great. There was an issue with my system when picking up the truck and they drove out to the dealership and fixed it real quick.

Edit: inside normal listening levels it sounds incredible. It only starts to give out a little with the tweeters when it is VERY loud. And those levels are not sustainable for long listening for 99% of us.
