We’ve got bourbon, we’ve got beer, how about some Gin in here.

Well it was finally hot enough to make the switch from bourbon to Gin today.
This is my favorite of all time.

Gin and tonic is the way when the weather warms up.

Hendricks, then Bombay sapphire are 2 &3. Aviation is fine if I’m into my 2nd or 3rd cocktail.
Gin tastings aren’t really all the rage I guess so sampling is a bit of a commitment and I’m pretty tough to sway from my top 3 so there you have it.

I love a gin and tonic with a bit of lime. That being said, I am known to be able to drink large amounts of booze and never have a problem other than maybe getting a bit tired of a slight headache the next day.

But, the only time I have ever done stupid shit while drinking, it was when I indulged in multiple gins and tonics. Makes no sense and probably just a coincidence, but true for me.

Martini every night before dinner. Favorite gin was Bombay Sapphire but I've moved to Costco Kirkland London Dry Gin. Best tasting gin I've ever tried (and I've tried them all). Very, very smooth, no need for Vermouth, just straight out of the bottle over ice. $10 cheaper per 1.75 liter bottle than Bombay also.

Joining because my experimentation with gin lags way behind other spirits. I make a lot of old cocktails which call for gin and for those I typically use a basic London dry like Gordon’s, Boodles, or Tanqueray.
I also have Aviation Old Tom and Plymouth gin in the bar right now but I certainly don’t have a list of favorites. I would like to find a good fennel, sloe, 100 proof, and orange to add to the collection to make better and more authentic cocktails.

We use Gin in our Ceasars, which is similar to a bloody mary only 1000x better.

Old Tom gins can be as complex and tasty as single malts, way better than London Dry versions.

If you can find it, the New Deal Old Tom is damn good w that same tonic in the first post.

Mcqueen and the violet fog: really not too bad

Also enjoy trying the seasonal flavors for Hendricks from time to time

    None at this point.
Gin is one of those alcohols that you either like it or you hate it.
    I'm on the hate side.

There’s one on every corner on Oahu. We refer to them as “All Blocks Covered” stores.

The main alcohol store here in VA. Just looked it up, stands for "Alcoholic Beverage Control"

We don't have that here. We just buy at the grocery or convenience store. We do have big stores like Total Wine and Costco/Sam's Club also sell booze.
