Rolled for a good 15~20 seconds, getting stronger then stopped. Up by Ridgecrest again. 6.9~7.1, stronger than the one yesterday.
Anybody else feel it? Hope the good folk in the Ridgecrest area are ok.

This one was much stronger. Sloshed water out of the pool. 7.1 downgraded to 6.9. Now upgraded back to 7.1 by USGS.

This one felt like we were on the ocean for at least 30 seconds. 71 quake woke me up. 86 Whittier quake jarred me awake. 94 Northridge quake woke us up. Yesterday's would not have but this one certainly would've!

My wife pointed it out, said we are having an earthquake. I said I don’t feel it. I was busy putting up a shelf in the laundry room. I only noticed it when I stopped and paid attention. It was really smooth but it seemed like it lasted for quite a while once it was brought to my attention. I want to say it lasted about a minute from the time my wife pointed it out till I noticed it stopped. She was freaking out and hyperventilating LOL. I grabbed the screw gun mid earthquake and went back to work.

Moorpark checking in. This time my fish tank splashed on the ground quite a bit. I had to get the towels out.

It was 2 quakes but the news is only talking about the second one. It was a 5.0 and three minutes later the bigger one hit.

I noticed the first one but didn't want to mention it because my wife freaks out. I couldn't ignore the second one though and she was yelling.... at me... to pause Netflix because we were at the end of a good Black Mirrors episode

I can deal with blizzards in New England. I can deal with tornadoes and golf ball sized hail in Texas.
But don't ever ask me to tolerate earthquakes anywhere.

I'm in San Diego and was watching an NBA Summer League game being played in Vegas. Just as we felt the earthquake here they started talking about it on the broadcast. Pretty amazing how widespread this one was felt!

Just playing with my son running around here at Fort Irwin then the dude froze and stared at me haha, told him it’s ok we have a tundra that can take us anywhere even off-road when all the fancy cars can’t get off the pavement clogging the highway. Wifezilla wants to move now haha.

The Great State of Texas has plenty of room. One problem is that you might run into @ARamirez73.
But gas is far cheaper. Currently $2.59 around Dallas/Ft Worth.

She is super stoked on the shelf over the washer and dryer now! She’s telling me were having an earthquake while I’m trying to start a screw! I’m like you’re trippin. I had to stop and look at a hanging plant. That’s when I believed her. I was about to tell her that’s just my Milwaukee Hammer drill and impact you’re feeling LOL. Shit was still shaking while I walked back in there and finished what I was doing.
