    Greetings Tundra Nation-
I am a new member here and new owner of a pre-loved 2017 Cement TRDP Tundra. The first friend of mine who saw me in it recently said "Is that your truck? Have fun spending a fortune on gas - I had one for a short time and it was not exactly fuel efficient." So, I said yea I was aware of that going in... and that's definitely not my favorite "attribute" of this new truck, but hopefully not as bad as my 2013 F150 Ecoboost that got 12.1mpg according to the vehicle's computer. This new Tundra says 13.8mpg on the computer. We shall see. At any rate, the first mods I am wanting to make after spending a little time here on the forum are to level/slightly lift it and swap in some 295 or 35 Ridge Grapplers or Open Country AT2s and stay with the OEM TRD wheels for now. It amazes me how bad these trucks look stock with the lower front rake and tiny donut tires, when they can look 100% better (and likely sell better) with a simple level and larger/ better fitting tire. Ive owned both and both are great. Called Toytec as I also own a 4runner and they are great and their spacer level/lifts will not work on the TRDP - so they said I would have to purchase all new front coilers. Now looking at the Coachbuilder setup as a more economical option and it appears that quite a few members here are running it with good feedback. Next will probably be all LED interior and exterior bulb changes and also swapping in the 2019 front headlight housings with LED DRLs for a more modern look. Any comments/advice would be much appreciated- thanks!

    Welcome.
The TRDPro comes leveled from the factory, the front sits 2" higher than a non-Pro. As @831Tun said, @Coachbuilder1 makes some nice shims and shackles that will give you a little lift. To fit 295's or possibly 35's you shouldn't need additional lift, but you will need wheel spacers if you are running the stock rims. Cab mount chop, bumper spacers, and trimming might be required depending upon your alignment and exact setup.

Wow - thanks folks. Great group! Posting pics soon. Just a plain ole Cement TRDP right now. So, Im curious about the fact that the TRDP is supposedly already level. Mine appears to have a little rake... And yes will run factory wheels for now so from what I read I will need 1.25 Spidertraxx. Given my vehicle model, if I am wanting to be dead level and get about 2in more lift which I think looks better esp with larger tires, what is the consensus on the best route to go? I understand you can “probably fit” 295s or 35s without a lift, but I dont personally like the look of squeezing larger tires underneath a stock height truck. Just me. Thanks for any advice folks!
