I have been stuck in bed recovering from a surgery and found this subthread, thank goodness for boredom.

I have a funny story about getting my TRD Pro. I have 3 kids, 2 of which ride for our high school mountain bike team. Which requires me to drive to practice twice a week (don't worry, I ride with them, so I am not sitting in the car waiting), and races all over the state. The best part of this was I was splitting the driving to practices, depending on locations, between my Tesla Model Y, and my Old Man Truck (04 GMC 2500). I just got tired of switching up racks and paying to insure 2 cars, we had sold most of our other toys anyway (4wheelers, camp trailer, cargo trailer) and we didn't really need both. I started thinking why not just get one car. I started looking and ended up at a local lot that sold Rebuilds. I went with the intention to buy a 4Runner (7passenger), but noticed in the back of the lot an ugly army green Sequoia, and asked what it was. The owner was hesitant to have me drive it, I pulled up in a Tesla and gas prices were on the rise, he thought for sure I wouldn't really be interested. After driving both, there was no chance I was going to buy another 4Runner, I needed that V8! We went back and forth on wether or not to buy it because it was salvaged. But it was a 2020 with 6000k miles on it, and the owner has a great warranty on all his work, and his price was reasonable.
We pulled the trigger and then of course before the ink was even dry on the purchase contract the mods started. Of course the wife never understands why I need to modify the cars, but she some how lets it happen.
I took off the somewhat useless rack and added a Sherpa Designs rack, added a single row LED light bar to the front, and side lights to each side (still considering a couple for the rear). Then I went with the Westcott Lift kit to be able to get the bigger tires underneath (35's sure kill gas milage, oh well). I still have a couple of things I want to do with lighting, back up lights in place of the reflectors on the rear bumper, and maybe some pod lights by the windshield. Definitely replacing the stereo head unit (I read Octave's entire thread, and can't wait). Waiting for Sherpa to release their rear ladder...
I traded the take off tires for a 23Zero Canopy, just haven't had the time to put it on yet. We also have an iKamper RTT, but a friend of mine practically gave me his pop-up trailer, so I don't think I am going to put it on and will probably just sell it to hopefully finance the new head unit.

    Welcome from TX!

I replaced the reflectors for red lights that come on with the markers. Much nicer.

I ran the wire down the windshield with the KC wire hider, it works way better than I thought it would, you don’t even notice it.
For the Auxbeam, I poked a hole in the bigger rubber boot just below the brake booster and shoved it through. It was a PITA, but the auxbeam is so clean, and that was probably the hardest part.

Welcome. When my oldest was in high school we did the mountain bike racing team for a couple of years as well. I was one of the asst. coaches and rode at practices to. It was a lot of fun. Driving to some of the races was tiresome though. we were in a minivan.

Welcome from Ohio! Nice truck! Funny comment about your wife wondering why you do the mods but she lets it happen......sounds familiar. :D
I have the KC wire hider for my lightbar, works great. I also ran my ditch light wiring and light bar through that same boot below the brake booster.
That Auxbeam switch is nice, I may have to consider it if I do any other lights.

@farnsrocket I noticed you light pods on the hood, which bracket or light did you use?
