Don't really see fully built Tundras like this as much as I see Fords and Chevys. Be interesting to see what this guy does with his. Also curious how he still managed to find BFG Projects.

Saw this one a few years ago down Mexico way.

Not a big fan of side by side or stand up spares. I think it puts the weight up too high. Big fan of the way Herbsts and Mason do it on the trophy trucks.

Did you ever see the Tundras that the old T-Force team built? BJ Baldwin has one of them now and it's complete changed from what it was. I like how you can lock the spares in.

I really like that black one. Nice and clean, but I would like to see those tires a bit lower. It looks like they would lose the trunk if they did that though.

The T-Force trucks were cool. The one-piece was... ehhh, IMO. I do like what BJ did to that. I thought they were LS2s weren't they?

I do like the stacked tires, but getting a shredded tire in the bottom is no bueno.

The 454 Tundra was bought used, so it came with Projects. I'd still love a set, but they are useless out here in CO.

Fuel cell under the tires. Cooler behind the cab when a fuel cell could have gone, lowering the spares.

Yeah the T-Force trucks have LS2s in them. I was talking to him in San Ignacio a few years ago during prerunning for the 1000 (2017 I think). His Tundra was on the trailer and I asked him what motor was in it. I got this surprised look on his face and spouted off the rehearsed line of "It's a 5.7 liter I-Force V8". His grew guys standing around started laughing, I started laughing and asked "Nice. Now what's really in it. Because it was a Chevy motor when the T-Force guys had it." He just said "Yeah, it's a Chevy."

I'm still waiting for someone to rear end me and obliterate my bed so I have a valid reason to LT and back half mine. Fully built out tundras are rare and sweet.

That is hilarious. I love the guy, but he needs to stop breaking.

It seems like putting the cell and tires behind the axle is the hot thing right now. Supposed to flatten out the buck.

AGREED. If I were to get rear ended, I would do the same. Buy back the truck from insurance and drop it off at Kibbe's or Richer. THEN grab a personal loan and put a 4400 center mount. Truck for life at that point.

Well... they're pretty expensive to build. Ford and Chevy are cheap compared to Toyota, the drive/powertrain aftermarket support for domestics is gigantic, heck, I bet there's shops selling bumper to bumper tube kits ready to be welded. R&D is expensive.

But I'd pay for that R&D if I had the money :(

I’ve thought on prerun trucks as long as I can remember. I’m sure at this point the only one I would attempt is a 2003-07 classic Chevy/Gmc. Like said, the aftermarket is incomparable for everything else. Yes there’s some great ferd weld on kits, but the engine build options lack.

Plus- I mean look at those cat eyes

If I were to do a chevy, it'd be a cateye. SUPER sexy especially when at full bump and droop.

That's some heavy back half action going on there.

Kibbe's got one in the works too.

Between Kibbe and MCD, those are gonna be some MONSTERS in the whoops.
