Oh have you looked up coach builders. I am thinking if I can get the spec close enough getting them to help with bump steer and outside tire wear.

Yes I asked spoke with David at CB and he stated that based on my numbers he can understand why it’s wearing that way. I am going to give the new shop his numbers and hope for the best.

Yes those numbers from CB you posted are where I am going to try and get the new alignment shop to dial the truck in at. David at CB was actually surprised that my truck achieved those numbers. He said that everything is way out of whack. Saying my toe is set to make each wheel fight each other. My camber he stated is definitely not where he would like to see it and he also said where my caster is at is definitely not ideal. He told me if the shop can get everything to his numbers he said i should see 110% difference in handling the second I leave their shop.

This stuff is really confusing. Taking in my truck today, just did a lift and new wheels. It rides good but everybody tells me i need to get it alignment before i mess up my tires up. Is that true or False??

Anytime you mess with the suspension with a lift you should always have it aligned. You have to assume the changes you make have put you out of alignment spec. Its very confusing but luckily if you reach out to the right people on here you should be able to get it dialed.

What kind of lift? Coilover/ spindle lift gonna be different than drop bracket, spacer lift. If not already done, ask the alignment shop to note the specs as they are when you arrive. Then they can move toward whatever goal you want, but you will be able to articulate what ‘felt good’ to you.

Ok just got back from my second alignment and right away i can say it drives wayyyyyy different and much better! Now it drives like it did before the lift but here is the kicker.... they had to completely abandon the numbers CB stated. The alignment shop tried to achieve them and said they were unable to get the truck to get close to his numbers without UCA's. Keep in mind this shop does alignments by gauge not computers. Reviews said that they are one of the best alignment shops in the Inland Empire (Socal Area) because its not just a inexperienced tech using the computer to tell him what is in the green or not. The guy said to me trust me on this one we will align it to what we know works and if it doesnt drive how you like we will realign it however you want it no charge. So heres my new numbers

Right Camber: -.25 Left Camber: -.25
Right Caster: +5.5 Left Caster: +6
Toe Right: -.06 Toe Left: -.06

Truck drives amazing no feedback in the wheel from what I could tell. The tires we actually pretty loud in comparison to by old truck with 35" KO2's and I guess the alignment caused they cause they are extremely quiet now. According to his opinion he felt my original toe was way too positive causing the bump steering and the outer edge wear. He told me I was dragging my tires to a degree. He said had my toe been closer to .5" I would've destroyed these tires so thankful that didnt happen. Hope this helps everyone.

Yes and when I gave him CB's number he said he couldnt get my truck that low. I have a weird feeling CB's numbers may work for you give your a completely different lift then my set up.

2" Tuff Country Level kit with axle drop, 5100's low setting. TRD front sway bar.

First alignment shop told me after I installed the level kit that it was with in factory range. I said BS quietly in my head after paying $198.00 for 3 year plan. Today I brought it to another shop by the same national chain. and it was completely off.
Alignment shop 2 have great numbers on paper, but it does track to the left for some reason, I did notice the abrupt steering response when I got on the highway changing lanes. It felt like my race car with max caster.

I might eat the 3 year warranty and try taking it to 4x4 shop to get it aligned.

    Yes, 18x9 +12. 275.65.18

They used a 2018 since they can't seem to have any data on the 19's and 20's.

Maybe @throughitalldude might can help on ur aliment. But I think more offset makes the lane change more difficult. I have 0 offset they stick out about 1-1.5

So when I was at the alignment shop the guy told me he sees 9/10 vehicles with Toyo made tires have a shake of some size in the higher speeds. He claimed something about their sidewall rubber being stiffer then other brands and it can cause the tire to do what it wants at times. Not sure if its true or not but took his word for it because I could still feel a slight steering shake up in the 50-60 range. Called Americas tire about what I heard they immediately offer to take the Toyos back and gave me the tires I originally wanted KO2's.... havent felt the shake at all and they look alot better too:thumbsup:
