Buyer beware: If ordering from Serra and the same parts manager is there (Eric), then expect slow shipping times, incorrect parts to be ordered (without notification) and overall subpar customer service. I usually don’t call out my bad experiences, but 2 years later and I still remember it.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I’ve placed a handful of orders with them and have had no issues or complaints.

 

I am sure our friend Fredie will have this going on as well.

 

I will reiterate this for the hundredth time on this forum:

• Serra has two dealerships, one in Decatur AL, the other in Birmingham AL
• Serra Birmingham is great, Mike B and his team are top notch, though during major events, they get hundreds and hundreds of orders, and sometimes it take a week or two to fulfill
• Serra Decatur sucks ass, mostly because Eric F is a garbage human being and a piss-poor manager, is fully incapable of owning up to their mistakes, much less getting anything right, and has screwed over members here at Tundras.com
• Serra of Birmingham is https://autoparts.serratoyota.com
• I won't link the Decatur dealership, thought it's in the image above ... as long as Eric works there, I'll never recommend the place again - he burned me with their mistakes, and has burned two other forum members - NEVER shop with Serra Decatur's parts dept, and tell all your friends! We have a couple of publicly documented cases of failure due to that guy's leadership, specifically.

Just ordered some front rotors for the Tundra. He did tell me that there is a national shortage of rotors but he can get me a set to ship in 3 to 4 days.

 

Just ordered quite a few parts from Serra of Birmingham. The 25% only applies when added to cart. Huge savings over what my go-to dealership was offering for the same parts. The only downside is that I can’t order the 38 gallon fuel tank conversion parts list because of shipping. I’ll just have to wait until the 4th of July and hope my go-to dealership has a sale…

 

Fred Anderson is slow too. Took like a week or two to ship out my last order. I dont care, but still worth noting

 

They source from the warehouses and depends on where the items are coming from.

 

Darn, I should’ve waited on my ball joints and bolts! Guess I’ll look around my truck and see if there’s any little things I need to order.

 

Fred Andersen is slow, they need to hire more people to push online orders out if Toyota keeps running these sales. Unless something is back-ordered, parts don't take that long to leave the warehouse. Doesn't bother me too much; if I need something in a rush, all my local dealers can get things next day or two usually.

I just placed my 5th order thru Serra of Decatur. Never had a problem other than extremely slow shipping. Next time I might try the Birmingham store.

Hmmmmm. I would call them.

 

This happened to me on the last 25% off sale. It was due to the touch up paint being a pickup only item. When I tried to check out only option was for pickup. When I removed the touch up paint then I had the ship to me option back on.

 

BINGO my friend. Focking touchpaint ? Yeap it works now.

 

Flammable stuff will do it everytime.

 

The dealership right across town from me would not ship ATF.
