I’ve never had much luck on Prime day in the past. I really only have 2 things left to do on my Tundra: upgrade the sound system, add leather seats. I don’t imagine either of those will benefit from Prime Day

Might find a deal on sound deadening, or stereo components.

That’s a good point! Do you recommend a brand of sound deadening material? Pretty sure I’m gonna go with James @ 12 volt tech for the rest of the items

Nope no recommendation. I’ve never seen anyone post that any are bad. Maybe someone else’ll chime in with an opinion. I’d look for a deal and know it’d be a huge improvement over what you’ve got now.

Not to derail…but the sub makes a big difference? Have had the bar and surrounds for a few months and it’s kickass. The sub isn’t cheap which is why I’m asking!

Sorry but that is not likely going to happen.
They are shipping orders now from March and my crap is scheduled for August or later and I am a Dealer.

If you want Speakers you might have a shot but any Components are so backordered it is actually insane.

I don't look for anything in mind. If I see something and it's a price I can't pass up, then I'll get it. But I might look for a pressure washer.

This is my approach as well. Usually if there is a specific thing I'm looking for it isn't on sale, and anything I really need I don't wait for a reason to buy. I just browse Amazon day and if something cool is low enough I buy it. I've only bought twice from Amazon day in the past.

Maybe I'll keep an eye out for a good subwoofer for my home theater.

    Yep. Big difference.
We also use it for music quite often which makes a world of difference. You can adjust the settings in the sub, via the app too

Just curious, do most of you keep a Prime membership for the 2 day shipping? I cancelled Prime years ago because they still give you free shipping if you spend over a certain amount ($35 I think). Shipping is slow, but if I need something that fast I'll go buy it in person. I remember when I had Prime I was always disappointed with Prime Day.

I still manage 2 day shipping most of the time and shipping costs in Canaderp are stupidly high. Combine that with the miserable state of retail in this country, even for small items, Prime is worth every penny for me. 9 times out of 10 I buy from Amazon instead of locally. We also cancelled our cable years ago, so we use Prime Video quite a bit. Lots of good stuff on there.

I dunno. Have only had the truck about a week, they came with it. They can’t be more than 18 months old. Finish is just failing everywhere. I emailed the company and to their credit they were willing to send me new ones if I was the original purchaser and could send my order info. They seem to stand by it but the warranty isn’t transferable so it won’t help me. They recommend a can of bed liner spray for touch ups. I don’t know if I want to mess with it, doubt it would look good for long.
