    Hi everyone,
I drive an 09 Tundie that I love. Today on my way to work, the alternator suddenly failed. On the highway in Houston. ugh!
Got towed to my dealer and they replaced the battery and alternator. Now that I got it back after 7 hours... I turned my Pioneer AVH-2330 NEX stereo on and it was on a reset screen so I reset it. The screen comes on, the touch screen works in general and the screen display works and it acknowledges my iPhone and music selections from it. BUT when I try to turn up the volume either using the buttons or the function on the screen, it doesn’t budge.
Can the alternator blowing have ruined my less than year old awesome stereo and/ or speakers?!? HELP!!!

Try a reset on the Pioneer, it’s under settings, you can reset to factory (default). I have the same deck and sometimes it goes goofy, a reset typically fixes all my problems. Try turning your phone off too before you “re-pair” everything back up with each other.

I will! Thank you! And is that a safari rack on the top of your truck?

It is, got a set of crossbars above the topper and also on top of the cab, which has a RockyMounts basket on top. I’d have a second basket above the topper if I could still fit in the garage with it, but can’t. Great for firewood and canoes. Even figured a way to mount my fly rod holder onto the crossbars, but haven’t gotten around to updating pics.

Hmm... couldn’t find a reset function on the screen. But I found a pinhole in the corner. And wouldn’t you know? It resets back to factory and I have tunes again! Thanks for your help!
