Hi guys. Can the tundra alignment gurus tell me what they think of my camber numbers? I know all are green and "in spec" but I have read that camber should be 1.9 - 3.4. Thanks for the input. I'll add that I have fox 2.5's in the front with SPC UCAs (not sure if that makes a difference or not). A8430BAF-1D12-4900-A09B-52FA2B8349BA.jpg

Ok great thanks! I was actually hoping you would be one of the responses as I've seen you post/comment a lot on alignments.

Some of the best numbers I've seen posted.

Drives good to me. My only complaint is that when my steering wheel is straight, it seems to veer to the right. I'm not sure if that's the road dome (ha, road dome) or if the steering wheel needs to be adjusted.

That does look great how are you spc's set up? I would guess they rotated the caster star plate to add more and push the wheels forward.

I installed them how the SPC directions specified but I'm not sure how they were adjusted during the alignment. I'm sure they adjusted them.

Take a picture, if you see the spc logo on the plate facing out it's set up the way they came. I'm interested, mine are set as they came and it works great but you have another degree of caster than I do.

Do not touch that alignment! It's perfect. If the steering wheel is really bad, see if you can adjust it. Or if it wasn't centered when the alignment was done, shoot for those same numbers again.

@Toytec Lifts has a 30 day warranty on their alignments so maybe they will straighten the steering wheel for me. Is it easy to do? Could I do it myself?

Is the steering wheel physically off center? Or is it just pulling to the right?

Don't know on a tundra, PITA on my Trooper.
But this is the real question, if the wheels are straight and the steering wheel is too probably the crown in the road.

If the steering wheel is centered, i veer right. if its tilted left, i can stay center. So it could just be that the steering wheel was not perfectly centered during alignment. I'm OCD and want it straight :)

Hey guys I was hoping to see what you guys are thinking of my current alignment specs. I have 2/1 lift on my 2018 tundra and that’s what the tire shop came up with. I can slightly see visually that the wheels are still positive camber. Should I got back and ask to maybe make the camber a little better and sacrifice the caster? Thanks!

Personally, I think the camber should be 0. Toe is a little high IMO but not bad. And, caster is backward from what I've been taught. Generally right side +/- .5 higher than left to offset road camber (the hump in the center of roads for drainage). But, the caster numbers, beside being reversed, are in the proper range for a stock, non lifted, truck.

Ok thanks so much! So basically ask them to try to put the camber closer to zero and switch the caster the other way so the number is bigger on the right side than the left?

Yeah, 0 camber. Yours is +. Race cars will often have neg camber to increase stability in corners. If your truck is tracking straight with no pull on the highway your probably OK but it's not what I'm used to or have had done to my truck.....ever.
Your numbers are all "in spec." so nothing to really worry about. Maybe when you get new tires or feel the need to get another alignment go in armed with the knowledge of what you expect the numbers to be.

Yeah it drives dead straight when I let go the wheel but I actually am getting new tires tomorrow so that’s why I asked about it. I’ll keep an eye on the tires and next time if I schedule I will tell them what numbers I want for my alignment.
I just feel like they should be able to dial them in a little better with only 2 inch lift.

They should be able to. A lot of alignment "techs" are pretty green. On top of minimal experience they're pushed to work fast, speed is name of the game and quality goes out the window. It's also a little tricky to align 'cause every adjustment effects something else so it becomes a tedious back and forth to make things perfect. Most shops just get close and call it good.
