Air Intake Tube Alternative

Here's how mine turned out.
I already have the trd accelerator and the aFe dry flow panel filter.
My total cost came out to be: $89.10
1. Trd tube: 44.04
2. Gates 1/2" to 1/2" tube connector: 4.06
3. Vacuum air tube 1/2": 6.73
5. Clamps: 5.48 (set of 2)

#3 & #4 got from local O'Reilly Auto part store.
#5 are dryer duct clamps from local Wally world.

I wanted to keep the factory air hose intact that's why i went with the 1/2" to 1/2" tube connector.
I had 1 (4") clamp laying around amd reused the clamp that goes to the throttle body. Hence, the extra set from wally world was needed.
Not the best looking but it works. I had trim about 3" off the reducer silicone coupler. Then used that for the airbox side to trd tube. Then trim the throttle body down til everything fit.
Yes, the airbox to trd tube coupler is on the short side. But, it is holding tight. I kept the factory in the bed for now, incase it decide to pop loose, i have something to put it back. This will let me nnow if i need a longer coupler.. we will see..
