There is only one aftermarket rear bumper that keeps the blindspot. I'll see if I can find it.

Most aftermarket won't bother making it blindspot friendly because of the liability issues involved.

Yeah, but that one is not compatible with the blind spot monitoring system.

I just now saw that. I figured it had the sensors, so it was compatible.

    Disregard.

I’ve had my eye on this one for a while for that exact reason. Also it looks like a solid bumper and integrated light ports are awesome too! Hopefully one day I will be able to afford it and the matching range max front bumper with hoop which also has radar sensor ports! Hope this helps

The only one I am aware of that allows the BSM is the ICI TYN-93-RBM (if I remember the code right) they are out of business but rep says the design has been sold to major manufacturer and should be back in production in January. Waiting for one myself.

Yeah, the visible sensors are just the proximity alerts. The actual blind spot detection and rear cross traffic assist are internal. The bumper has to have a compatible plastic for the corners of the bumper. That's why every Tundra with blind spot has color matched rear bumper corners the system can't see through metal.

It looks like a pretty solid bumper. Its most likely the one that I will go with, just not alot of pics online.

I don't know first hand but it looks like a rubber/plastic cap labeled BSS:

Oh, I see. There are cutouts on the outside corners. This just made it in my short list for rear bumper. Thanks for the info

Yea, that’s a nice one as well but:
    • Who know when they will release it
    • Lead time will be out of this world due to current front orders and everyone wanting the rear

You will be amazed at how flimsy our rear bumpers are when you take them off.

Or when you tap them on a rut. Know most people aren’t gonna be tapping ruts. But worth noting. Also, unless you’re going DOM tubing or thicker plate with heavy mounting brackets your results will not be much different if you tap a rut or rock. Most aftermarket bumpers are pretty thin if you look at the actual specs! I just removed the corner of the driver rear bumper, and riding dirty thus far. Between custom high clearance rear and just getting it fixed at the body shop. Not really bothering me, but I have a few love marks on my 2019 already from wheeling. Guess my main point is consider the reason you’re getting a new rear bumper. Mine is a tool not a jewel.

You speak the truth. Here's my GoRhino BR20 rear bumper. I go wheeling and I've managed to tweak this 3/16th steel plate bumper enough to cause body damage and stay in this upward angle. The mounts to the frame are solid, that hasn't budged or bent, but the further away you get from the frame mount or support bracket the weaker and more flexible the bumper will be. I have a high clearance bumper on the way to replace this garbage.
