After market front bumper and TSS

On Wednesday my truck was backed into while I was at work. Drivers side corner was pushed in and almost touching my tire. I’m looking to go aftermarket bumper. I like the ranch hand bull nose(1st pic) as well as their summit bumper(3rd pic). I’m looking for first hand experience with these or similar bumpers and possible TSS issues. I know a couple of members have installed the summit and just cut out the center section of mesh with no issues. I’m not sure about the bull nose bumper. It looks like the bull nose section may be high enough. I’m open to other bumpers but looking for first hand experience. Thanks.

 

As long as nothing is in front of the emblem, you shouldn’t have issues.

What issues did you or have you had with the bumper fit and finish?

 

Gaps between the bumper, grill, and body. Plus the left over mig wire that wasn’t ground down and the powder coat is so-so. But it is the least expensive full protection bumper that will protect against a deer hit which is the main reason for purchasing this.

 

I know that C4 FAB bumper works with the TRD PRO TSS sensor. Does anyone know if the ranch hand summit bullnose bumper will work with the TRD PRO TSS?

 

This is the bumper that I ended up going with. I’m just waiting now. Ordered it the 1st of December. Hopefully I’ll have it the end of February. Made by Shrockworks.

I know this is an older thread, but it might still be useful info for some.

I now know of 2 front bumpers that have tube work that doesn't interfere with the Non-Pro TSS sensors. C4 Fabrications has an option for mid height that won't mess with it now https://www.c4fabrication.com/product/2014-tundra-overland-series-front-bumper/ and Victory 4x4's Strike bumper was initially designed to not interfere. Does anybody else know of others that don't mess with the standard TSS sensor?

Did the Shrockworks TTUN-FBPR bumper shown in the previous photo have any issues with any of the TSS features which include:

1. Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection
2. Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
3. Lane Departure Alert
4. Front Parking Assist Sonar
5. TRD Front Skid Plate

And anything else front-bumper-related that I might have missed ?

No problems. I don’t have front parking assist. Don’t have a TRD skid plate. I have RCI and no issues with it.
