my brother has a 2008 4runner hes looking to sell. We are located in Ohio. It is in MINT Condition and a perfect example of a 4runner for Toyota OEM enthusiasts. For that reason i would prefer to sell it to someone who knows their stuff rather than a random from Craigslist. does anyone have any suggestions on where i can post/list this to reach its future owner. id like to get what its worth.

It's white, with OEM tan leather interior, and Genuine Toyota TRD Wheels. also has weather tech floor liners(not pictured), full led interior, and Pioneer Bluetooth headunit. 148k miles.

i know somewhere out there, theres a Toyota enthusiast looking for a truck thats totally OEM, clean, and hasnt been messed with.

Skip CL, Autotrader better option. Maybe a 4Runner forum. $12k seems reasonable; mileage although not awful may slow sale.

This may not be the best time to sell with this virus thing.

I sold my maintained and slightly modded 07 SE with 170k for $9400 last summer to come over to the Tundra. It sold in a week thru FB marketplace. Bunch of folks asked or lowballed without looking at it. The only guy who came to look went home with it.

Do your usual avenues and deal with tire kickers and what not. It's all part of the private sales game unfortunately. Someone who values the rig will come along if you wait it out /is priced reasonable with the market in the area.

Sold both my previous 4runners on Craigslist with zero issues. My previous model was an 09 Trail Edition (ultimate unicorn) in mint condition. Sold it last year for almost 18k on craiglist within 2 days of posting. The important thing with Craigslist is creating a good ad that cuts through the bullshit and makes lowballers not want to bother.

Like others have said, spend time on the ad to weed out all the Nigerian oil price folks because no matter what it seems like they always pop up on the private party ads. I sold my wife’s 2014 4R on CL earlier this year and things went smoothly but i did get several non-starts to finally get to the real buyer. You’ll get it sold, just gotta stick with it. GLWS and nice rig.
